This post is the reason we got a Math! button.
or you know, they got banned. However, they don't exist!!! You only get an error message when you try to search for these users! How is this possible? I tell you how: Users with those numbers obviously existed at some point in the past and they were of course involved in the conspiracy as well. However, they were purged after internal power struggles. It's the only explanation.
But wait! It gets even more sinister! There should be way more users with special numbers than I have listed, namely these:
111
222
333
444
777
1111
5555
6666
1000
4000
5000
6000
7000
123
321
1352
1488

Nothing to see here, citizen. Wear your mask and move along.By the way, take note of the three users Ultron, Nigedo and Ismaul who are still active. They're obviously involved in this conspiracy so beware of them!!!
My theory: As a baseline, some 90% of the users on a forum will never post at all and 99% will be mostly inactive, posting only a few times and leaving. Therefore, for any given number, there's a 99% chance you will discover exactly what you discovered about those "special numbers". Assuming those users have no knowledge whatsoever of their number and behave like the typical user, this is what you would expect. The ones that are missing entirely are the ones that have been purged from the database for total disuse. As userIDs are not recycled, this behavior is similarly expected. In any case, I ask you, fellow Codexians, to help me uncover the goal of these diabolical machinations!
I suspect there isn't a timer based on number of years, but rather, they get purged whenever DU feels like doing some housecleaning. Here is a better one:

Zero posts and his 15 years expired a couple days ago. Ripe for Xenforo's wrath.
If DU ever wanted to make more money, I'm sure he could make a buck or two auctioning off old accounts with low join dates.
I'm sure certain shitposters would be eager to acquire such prestigious accounts to use as alts.

The dex is a flat disk and always has been. GD was made in a studio.
