Elite dangárus is just fine, the dlc deserves the shit it's getting, but the base game is still pretty solid.

Missile operator mode in 3.14 seems to be more than i thought it would be from videos i have seen.
Turns out that it can be used by co-pilot and work independently from pilot. Moreover target lock is based around player view cone rather than where ship points out like before. Which means you can target someone at the side and fire missile which will launch and instantly turn toward that target.
So in essence now co-pilot is force multiplier on ships with missiles and can focus independently from pilot on targets that are threatening pilot. Pilot himself won't be ever as efficient as dedicated copilot to this job.
The other change that comes with new scanning is that missiles now have its own ping. So if you scan them out you can actually target them with guns like any other ship and take them down. Due to how scanning works it is also possible to hide missile signatures as well much like ships.
If you fire missile from small ship being on far end of bigger ship that bigger ship signature will hide missile signature until missile will leave big ship vicinity.

It boggles my mind and really shows up Frontier that a bunch of ED Dads are suddenly singing the praises of SC. And they all say the same hilarious thing

I am not saying this to defend SC. But rather to highlight just how much of a shitshow ED is right now that it has become the best advertisement for Star Citizen that could ever be. All us Scam Citizen cultists need to do is point to Elite Dangerous at the cries of "it's taking too long!". I always hear all the time "at least ED is actually released. Lol JPEGs." ED's release is pathetic. Plenty of released games are shit, broken, unfinished and chopped up into bits for extra money making. I'll wait the extra time that's needed if it means SC actually gets finished. If at any point it fails, I don't care. I spent a very little amount of money I was prepared to throw into a hole anyway. And I got my money's worth. Which is more than I can say for ED. Which always felt like a watered down skinner box.
