Good times. Was talking on chat on A'napkin. Everybody's calling me Napkin

I'm like.. no... I'm A'napkin Flystalker. Yep, I'm the Flystalker Legacy on Malgus lolo

Edit: Wait. Someone said "oh so you're THE a'napkin flystalker" and I have no idea what that means unless it's a joke related to Star Wars. Because I haven't played A'napkin for at least half a decade.

and I didn't hang out with anyone besides the guild. Not to mention he's an Operative and I don't really do FPs on my Ops.

I dunno. I'm Empire and I already view Pubs as SJWs. So I see no reason that a major boss is pinnacle of SJW.

I mean, a lot of this stuff I don't mind if you're allowed to kill them off. Which is surprisingly easy during/after Kotet/Kotfe.

Or, if you don't like Koth, you can just kick him out of the Alliance. Funny and grateful they give us the option to get rid of those we dislike. (except for fuckign Jakarrro)

(Edit: Also, those really are side/background characters. They don't really do anything except side-comment or boss, so very likely the characters were designed FOR marketing purposes. Well, I dunno how the black chick is on the Pub side, Jorjelu Kes is still a bit far from there)

Reminds me of the original hillarious art when the expansion was announced. Here's shamelessly stolen a link of an already fixed version of that 5 min rushjob an intern apparently produced back in 2018-ish:
    https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/s...st/scale-to-width-down/1000?cb=20200511151813
Even on that one you can still make out that they badly copy/pasted Tau's face into an existing model and that one bow legged storm sith trooper copy-mirror-stamped all over the background. But hey, there were actually only 2 wymyn on it, and at least 1 white human CIS male scum, you got to give them that. :hahano:

Heh, you gotta love how they had the balls to even go further. After realizing nobody liked that character, who they apparently thought was the best thing since sliced bread, they didn't just cover their ears and used him even more, like writers today would do. Nope, you could kill him off. Which also served well to show what an emotionless killer Lana actually is. :?

    "Where's Koth?"
"Koth won't be joining us on the bridge. Ever again." :obviously:

the problem with making characters able to be excluded is that afterwards the character is almost entirely assumed to be gone by the writers because they're lazy hacks
most annoying shit ever, only two characters get any development(until you're able to get rid of one) then it's just Lana.

The lack of ability to seduce Arcann to the Dark Side was sad.

Though always it's fun nudging other characters to give in to their anger. This must be why Palpy has the best laughs in the whole franchise.

Edit: Oh shit, it's like being a father lmao.

My playthrough with LS Sith Warrior goes well, until Nar Shadda i cleaned every planet from all quests that were available for that completion feel but then i noticed that my character was so much overleveled that since then my level is always nerfed on every next planet. Because of that im now doing only planet arcs and story missions, im now on Taris with level 43 so its not going to change probably until the next planet if not even later.
All items that arent from heroics are useless, but since im so overleveled and i have custom armor (Dark Marauder, its looks awesome btw) heroic sets are just for collecting.

Also about custom items, years ago you could buy blue mods from vendors every 4 levels, these were decent and currency used for them was payment from heroic mission as far as i remember. Probably those were best items available for people who didnt have that gay artifact authorisation, you did heroics -> you could turn your custom eq into nice stuff. But now vendors sell plebian green mods, blue mods are only possible from different crafting crew skills (too much grind for my taste) and players put them on GTN in insufficient quantities for quite high prices (i mean for those who have that preffered 1 mil limit) so by the time when more will be available you will probably need mods from higher levels anyway.
There is also problem with artifact mods, earlier if you had that artifact authorisation/subscription you could dismantle artifact eq and take mods from it for your custom armor but now i dont see this option, maybe its because i have preffered account or maybe im just blind, i dont know.

And about story part of this playthrough, i just love those Jedi reaction on my LS choices, that mind wipe on Tatooine was best so far. And about Tatooine i liked that Czerka storyline about rakatan artifact, that Sith seemed like a cool guy, whole arc had that cool adventure mystery atmosphere.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. You could never find danger anyway, perhaps outside of soloing heroic missions. You still get XP. Each new level means just more skills without the added hp bloat, so that also is good.

Those aren't terrible for doing planetary quests, tbh.

Have you tried flashpoints? What do they drop these days?

Yeah, it was cool. Furthermore, I believe the Rakata is the one whose mind prison you bring to Tatooine in KotOR1.

Well i got few artifact items from veteran flashpoints, i didnt look on green and blue items. Those items have the same style as heroic sets but stronger and purple, 2 version for each specialisation of your class.

The worst thing about this game is the voice of the Jedi Knight. Because. The voice actor is the David Hayter aka Solid Snake. He clearly can do better. Ffs

So I've been picking up Heroic Missions so I could use their teleporters to get me places on planets faster.

    Lol..

Tfw I'm a founder.. and I don't remember any of my storylines.

I would say that overall Dark Side Male Knight, Light Side Male Warrior, Male Agent and Dark Side Female Consular are all really good (if goofy at times). Some other voices are decent as well, such as LS Female Smuggler, but they’re not top tier.

To be fair, it would be a massive effort to write full flegded characters half of the playerbase would never endure because they killed them off years ago.
Having to deal with 8 different class stories and 2+ love interests each was already too much for SWTOR in it's current state to handle. That's why they tried to combine them into the Outlander with only Lana/Koth/Theron as LI available, and it didn't work well.
Yet they gave players the option to get rid of 2/3 of those new LI, who were supposed to play a big role. Especially Koth, the token diverse dreadlock comedian, someone at Bioware had a hardon in almost every recent game for.
I can only assume the writers changed and were happy to finally ditch him. :hahano:

If they are clever, they will at least park your (basegame) LI in the players cabin, and slap on some mute/reused short fade-to-black interaction on them. Plus an occasional mail. Lots of content players with little effort.

Then they can continue to focus on those new characters and cater to Rusty's Leslie Jones fetish.

Be thankful it is that way now. I ragequitted the game back then because you (and your companion) were always underleveled and undergeared. I remember Tat and Alderaan even had bonus areas you could return to later at a higher level. I think those were scrapped entirely tho. And every enemy and their mother had high dmg special attacks, that were on a lower cooldown than your interrupts. Bosses even several. I remember needing at least 7 attempts for the pub tatooine boss, who had more instakill abilities than I counters...
    Yeah fuck those times. :argh:

I noticed one drawback of the new levelscaled loot system tho: you cannot farm the better colored low level armor on starter planets anymore. Sad.

Almost every planet has these. Last I checked (3 years ago?) they could still be accessed in some convoulted manner. Perhaps tied to class story progression?

Finished Taris and Hoth, that angry red head was interesting, it was funny to have that sloppy arrogant pseudo rival and her master reactions made it even better. It almost felt like she was going to be companion.
And about companions, there should be more situations when you have to use them all like in that final battle on Taris. Maybe they could make that on those story flashpoints where you could use your whole team instead of that droid.

Oh I don't just mean the bonus extra grind you could do before leaving a planet. At least Alderaan had an area requiring you return when you were some 10ish levels older. It might have been an attempt at "we need some time to pass for this quest", since there were originally time skips in the story, represented by those "go to to the station for some R&R", that were just there to tell players: "war has broken out while you were busy with hookers and blow." :hahano:
IIRC I read that it was axed altogether when player level stopped being important. Might be wrong tho.
TBF, my last playthrough was a really buggy one. I never got the introduction cutscene for flesh of my flesh, which is weird because it has dialog choices. It wasn't after he appeared in my bedroom I remembered I was supposed to have met him much earlier already. :hahano:
Twas quiet a bummer, because I made that char a (soon to be) 100% white Twilek CIS sith scum just to hear him berate her ancestors for interbreeding with filthy slaves.
    Sad.

Yes, the planetary bonus series. Balmorra, Nar Shaddaa, Tatooine, Alderaan, Taris and Belsavis all had it. Not sure about Hoth, Voss or Corellia. Definitely not on starter planets, Dromund Kaas, Coruscant, or Ilum. Also not on planets added after launch.

3 years ago these could be accessed somehow, but for the life of me I cannot recall how.

Why Quesh is so small compared to other planets, anyone remembers? It looks kinda cheap and im almost sure that it uses assets from Nal Hutta. To be honest its better that its smaller, toxic swamp wastelands are annoying and boring game locations.
