IIRC it replaced brofist for a couple of days as a joke a few years back, when we still had brofists exclusively, and then got added permanently when we got the button parade.

I had this avatar before the button existed. IIRC, I mentioned in a thread that I found the change to asshole slurping hilarious, so I think that is why the button took this form and of course because it fits very well for obvious reasons.
