Tapatalk quoting shenanigans

So when I read the forums through tapatalk on my phone the display of a post is only capable of attributing quotes to one user per post.

For example:
A, B and C are having a discussion. In a single post C uses the quote function to separately quote A and then B, but when viewed through tapatalk both statements are attributed to A.

Is this a known issue? It's not a huge deal, but it does make it a little tricky to follow discussions.

Tapatalk is bugged.

I also need to update XenForo sometime this week, as well as Tapatalk.

My experience with Tapatalk suggests it's expecting too much if you think the update will actually fix anything though. It's far more likely to introduce new bugs.

I think only Tapatalk for iOS does that, not the Android version?

Android version does that too. At least it discourages huge quotechains. Bug or feature?

Tapatalk often hangs on the "Notifications" page, too. New alerts are notified, but I often give up on waiting and open a browser.

I know the Android version refuses to embed quotes in quotes when you reply to a quote pyramid, but I think it displays them just fine. The iOS version OTOH can't display them properly (you get buggy dangling tags)
