It's mission based and the missions suck. I liked HeroX more than I liked Freedom Force. Freedom Force had a kick ass character system, it's just too damned bad they didn't make it a free roaming linear story as opposed to the mission string and nothing else type game. I could have at least delt with the free roaming linear deal.

The combat was pretty weak, also. Too much pausing and babysitting.
