You got to admit it'd be pretty fucking hilarious if Obsidian outlived Bioware.

Anyways, it's not like nobody saw it coming.

Their "competence" starts with their owners (the dead doctors) by selling their company to EA.. Hoping what exactly? ahahahaha. R.I.P.

Ivory Entertainment, a Bioware successor company. Gaider will be their equivalent of MCA.

By the way the Emotion Engine really existed, it powered Playstation 2.

Yes it will be long time ago prophesied rebirth of RPGs. The questions like: What can change a nature of man? Will be replaced with: Which crewmate to fuck today?

edit. It's the present for Codex from EA. Happy B-day codex!

I believe the "competent people" at BioWare have left a long time ago - just like competent people at Blizzard left during mid 2000s and started their own studios. This ex-BioDude is cool: http://bluebottlegames.com/main/

Probably, they were hoping to get a lot of money so that wouldn't have to work for the rest of their life. What exactly did they have to lose? Risking Bioware closing? So what?

Yeah, I think that everybody who merges with EA is either in financial trouble to get further fundings or he's selling out. Can't really blame them for getting rich...

Even if EA butchers Bioware I expect they will keep the "Bioware" moniker in use for several years, there's still plenty of cash to milk from the biowhores.

Bioware were already sort of owned by John Riccitiello before he became CEO of EA. Who knows how much of a choice they even had?

I'm not sure if you decided to make this your troll alt or what the deal is, but don't confuse religious morals with actual morals based on reason and logic.
