In his defense buying those editions are the only way console gamers can really own the complete package. The Liver servers for Xbox 360 will surely be shut down in a few years, just like the original Xbox's were.

I hate every one of you willing or expecting to pay for a PC game patch.

That said, my expectation is that they will make Deus Ex: Human Revolution: Enhanced Edition a preorder bonus for their next game.

Soooo, I am bored and looking for some :neveraskedforthis: and :popamole:action, meaning I'm reinstalling DX:HR and going in (this time with guns blazing). Are there any worthwhile or interesting mods for this game?

(Storywise, I can't think I could bring myself to side with anyone but

I saw only one mod to remove urinal colours but didn't bother to try. Not sure if because it was part of graphic enchancement mod compilation (which chocke my old GPU) or too chaotic instruction.
Reading manual for that mod was slower than game uninstall.

Good stuff. Being an Eidos game it will be in a bargain basement compilation pack for $5 within 6 months so I don't mind eventually paying for it again. Only paid $1 last time. Yeah I liked DXHR, so fucking blow me...

I too am just now going in with a kill em all approach. Just cleared the Police Station of all living souls. Crazed transhuman that I am. :smug:

You know what i really hate about this game? That it has basically taken over the internet. Try to search something for the original and you'll have to wade through pages and pages about Human Shitvolution.

Get with the times gramps. Why would info about a 1000 year old game still be high on the internet's most wanted? If I look for Might and Magic, I get Ubishit's new and improved version and all the Heroes games instead. I don't fly off the handle. Time moves on bro. Besides, what exactly do you still want to find regarding DX that you couldn't have found years ago?

The illuminati appeals to me in all three games, honestly. Guess I'm a dirty socialist.

Given the highlighted part and amount of disinformation floating around in-universe I find it dubious.

I'm pretty sure it's the same as the origins of ghouls in Fallout, even the developers disagree over what the Greys are.

Possibly, but you don't engineer highly specific and completely novel ability into your designed organism and then describe it as "organ of unknown operation".

I thought the Greys were alien DNA spliced with some terrestrial DNA because they couldn't get a complete sample of the Grey DNA.

I also had an idea that Paul and JC's DNA had been augmented with Grey DNA, but I don't think this is actually supported anywhere.

I seem to remember there being some literature in there about them finding the original Greys dead at area 51 and that the ones in the game are cloned. I believe there was an ape comparison.

The Deus Ex Bible (The Deus Ex Bible (Rehost)) Has a part of a dev interview:

"To believe that they are aliens is one thing; they look like one of the traditional representations of aliens. But to maintain the belief that they are aliens after any amount of time spent playing the game or existing in this place is the height of unnecessary ignorance. The initial reason for their creation is unclear, but it is known that they were used to divert attention from what was really going on at Area 51, and that they were considered a failure."

    Interpret that as you will.

Invisible War definitely calls them Versalife gene-splicing projects the same as Greasels. I just always assumed alien DNA was involved.
