Why is a TES elf hot all of a sudden?

 

Couldn't even get past 1 min mark in that cinematic. So fucking generic and boring.

The Pre-Order bonus being that you can create any race for any of the 3 factions. Turns out Zenimax Online not only disrpescts TES lore as a whole, but apperantly they disrespect their own lore too.

 

What was that supposed to be? A super Oblivion Gate? Spewing out a troll and goblins?

 

Morrowind was to alien for kwan constortard audience and so ''elves'' must be made more accessible and f..able for WoW fans; all this to earn more Jewgold of course; ZionMax, ZionMax never changes.

I don't know what it is but it stinks like a "Rift" to me.

 

A trollyphant and epic battle were probably the best thing about TESO anyway. Can't wait to close all of the 50 copy pasted oblivion gates.

 

So there will be lightning lasso magic, new Oblivion Gates which you close by breaking chains and there are freaky flesh monsters.

They didn't need an eight minute cinematic to tell us that.

Elders Scrolls fans are mostly casuals but they like Elder Scrolls and this thing is just WoW wearing Elder scrolls clothing, if Bethesda think they care enough about the lore to pay $50 and $15 every month they going to get a nasty surprise and what is even more ironic is that those developers just raped all things that made Elders Scrolls lore interesting and in ject this generic DnD bullshit, making even more easy to dismiss this shit and jut play the 1 million other free games.

 

My prediction: it'll sell a ton of boxes, but few recurring subscriptions. If TOR was able to turn a profit, this thing probably can, provided they didn't overextend with the Hollywood voice-acting bill. Of course, this is only half the story. The whole point of the MMO gravy train is you want to replicate WoW's success of multi-million income every month for years. Turning a thin profit off box sales is hardly a rousing success story.

Also, damage to the brand will be considerable. Kind of like how Blizzard cashed in a lot of brand credibility from the Diablo franchise with Diablo 3: they made a lot of short-term money, lost a lot of long-term money.

 

It was the fault of the yesteryear technologies that couldn't permit to render the elves in their true glory.

 

I find it hard to imagine how your average user who spent hundreds of hours on Skyrim, then spend some more on modded Skyrim would pay for a game that is like Skyrim but without mods and with annoying people online.

 

But now they can find a truly interactive mai waifus.

Fun fact: dark anchors were taken out of the game last year because none of the testers had bothered with them, then re-implemented two weeks ago with the only change being "We made the summoning animation much more awesome". I guess they had to shove them back into the game somehow since they had already commissioned a cinematic about them.

 

This trailer is so much kinds of wrong... What happen when you give millions of dollars to dumb nerds? Jesus, I almost vomited when they started that stupid " Look how cool and powerful our characters are." The AWESOME spell cast by that generic elf woman is shit that came straight from animu bullshit, she gets an arrow on her back but seems to not even notice it, pathetic... This whole bullshit of a game is made up of animu bullshit. Elder Scrolls lore was never something terrible original or clever but not this dumb. Are the niggers with glowing blue eyes and animu armor, Daedra? Jesus...

If the last part is true, that's pretty hilarious.

 

I didn't get the impression that the Skyrim Nords had a particularly authentic Scandinavian accent, but obviously I'm no expert.

 

Well, with fourteen Daedric Princes to go there's still plenty of variation left. I'd like to see Sanguine's indulgence daedra (seven sins and all that jazz), Clavicus Vile's jackass servants and Herpmaeus Derpa's li'l Cthulhus.
