Happy for Kojima-normies didnt fully sabotaged it. Hope there will be more games with eerie, emo atmosphere.

Has there been a better example of pity awards comparable to what Kojima was handed, though? For example, Disco Elysium absolutely wrecked Death Stranding in terms of award importance.

Super hyped that Sekiro won GOTY. Glad it got the recognition it deserved. It revolutionized and set a new gold standard for how combat should be done in a video game IMO.

Sekiro is a great game, but it didnt revolutionise anything. Its basically pattern memorization the game. The only way to beat a boss is to learn all his moves their order etc. Then comes the next boss and you relearn it all over. There's no skill and no improvisation there at all.

Wasn't the stream over 3 hours long? wonder how many stuck that long and how many will come back to watch again next year.

They really should condense the show to an hour or an hour and a half or something.

Real quick Polan Stronk PSA, if you don't mind - this was originally made by Fakes Forge, a Polish Facebook profile. They're on Instagram, too. It's highly recommended, whoever's running it knows their shit. So give 'em a like or whatever. Or don't, I can't tell you how to live your life.

PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Ring Fit Adventure is the only game actually deserving GotY.

It's the best exercise game I've ever played. Been playing daily for a month now and I still enjoy it even though the game makes you do a hundred squats a day.

One time, I had two 70+ year old Math professors, who were constantly in the gym. They weren't huge or anything, but they stayed in shape. Probably made their brains vascular.
