cheek out the channel Tom's Translations he makes alot of videos on these games and even dose translates the story for some of em and the multiple paths

hopefully atlas will take an interest in ios and android devices soon, they would benefit form it if they ported over the handheld games or re-releases like p3p or p2. both devices have ports of pc rpg's or pc quality games so they would not have to worry about restrictions.

also i checked online and these games are impossible to find as they use a jp only cellphone servic, so even if you could rip em you can't use an emulator to play them as they seem to be tied to it

Other than SMT how many real RPGs end up on Japanese mobile that we never hear about? Mobile games are mostly crap in the west for sure, but the Japs seem to have had more advanced games with actual button controls. Some of these look intriguing and I wonder what else we might have missed out on.

alot of those game used cell phone services like iappli which have longed since shut down, only way to play these games is the buy phones that had the games already bough on it.
good games still get made for ios and android but the japanese have even worse free games in the appstore.

- fan-translated MT 1 and 2 for NES

what else? Also, I would give my left nut to play that Persona 1 mobile game with new dungeons. Persona 1 remains my favorite of all SMT games with its mix of first-person dungeon crawling and its turn-based combat.

There's no Megami Tensei 1/2 English patch for NES but for Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei for SNES. It's a 16-bit remake of first two Megaten with the same mechanics and additional content like hidden Jack Frost meeting.

from what I seen from the live stream it's pretty much toned down gacha.
*Individual mp bars
*iap which will probably be high level demons
*3d models look nice
*demon negotiation looks less annoying
*at least still has fusion
*limited steps in dungeons

halfway into the video then enemy buffs up and abuses extra turn press by hitting the pc demons weakness. They then die as they have no debuff move and nothing to counter their weakness, also I think mp bars regen by 3 when thet hit zero.
