Atm it says "...his/herself" which isn't very inclusive of people who go by gender neutral pronouns.

I think it should be changed to "themselves" to make it more inclusive, better looking(that / is kinda cringe ngl) and more grammatically coherent.

Just maybe it is worded like that because the whole genderfluid garbage is a fantasy thought up by diseased minds who in any civilised society would get help for their problems (with force if need be). I agree. It should just be "himself". The masculine gender is the default for pronouns in the English, and most other European languages. It may refer specifically to males in some contexts, but in this context it refers to an individual regardless of gender. The same way that "man" is the default term for "human", including both men and women, but it can also specifically refer to males, depending on the context. So the NPC button should read "NPC #61873 came up with this opinion all by himself".

Also, his / herself is grammatically incorrect anyway. There is no such thing as "hisself".

Oh, and using "themselves" as a gender-neutral pronoun is highly disrespectful of transpluralists and hivemind life-forms as it implies that all individuals are non-singular, which is not true.
