Everyone is wearing masks so we won't see fugly women or niggers. That's an improvement I guess.

"We have a real stealth system this time!!" they insist
The stealth system doesn't look different from the first game, they just added a "x found dead body" text alert for the braindead (this behavior was already in there).

A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Kingmaker Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I have not seen a single person glaze over the Outer Worlds. Not even outside this website in normie land. Weird decision to make a sequel. Maybe they want to use the tech from OW1 to make an actual complete game this time. Might be the best shot Obsidian in its current state has honestly.

Btw, a retarded way to depict discrete data points over time, now it appears as if there was some linear, continuous, and increasing volume of sales from 2004 to 2014 that peaked with the release of SP: TSoT. I doubt any of the games released 2004 or before continued to grow their sales during that period.

Should've used a bar chart.

Probably inflated numbers do to gamepass and such. Roguey loves this trick
They used "sold through" not total players. Are you saying Tim Cain a liar? He frowns on that kind of thing. :M

The point is, no natural phenomenon behaves like that, raising in a steady angle. There are probably no datapoints in that chart source data for those years, and it's just a projection to fill the gap, or more likely, a choice a wrong a chart type (line) in excel. The person doing the chart was just being dumb.

You could tell a faggot (an approved one, I suppose) made the first game because all the female NPCs looked like bull dykes. I can't play any game where the developers deliberately make ugly art. I don't even understand the purpose.

I guess I could be giving them too much credit. Could be they're just terrible designers.

Wow, companions commenting on you seeing enemies. Several times. While you are in stealth.
That's likely an attempt at signalling that there is this thing called an atmosphere going on, right?
Honestly, we should be thrilled. I mean, gone are the days when we had to rely on trying to feel it from nonsense like ominious silences, sparse sounds, and vague vibes to feel anything.
Everything's so easier these days.
Players are practically hand-held straight into it. Triple time. And we all know that more always means more Addidas!

Jokes aside, the gunplay doesn't seem half-bad, and the dialog options as lines—wow, that can be a return to form, indeed :P

I remember in some game companions could also talk to you while in stealth but were doing that in whispers (could be even F:NV which would be ironic). And that was actually pretty cool. But such nuance is lost on modern day Obsidian. Overall the game looks awful in every respect, expectedly.

I fucking hate Obshitian so much. I managed to watch 57 seconds of the video and it's one of the worst games I've ever seen. Looks way worse than even Asoyed, and that game had bald blue fish nigger faggots in it. The aesthetics and colors of it are so repulsive, it's as if you asked an AI to generate some slop but the AI was colorblind. I hope one day all Obshitian developers are rounded up and raped by german shephards. Actually no, they would have enjoyed it. You know what would be better? I've read in some book about the conquest of the Americas conquistadors landed on some island and the tribals there were all faggots just fucking each other in the ass all day long. So the conquistadors had some wardogs with them and told the dogs to just tear the faggots to shreads and eat them alive. That was pretty based.

To a large extent The Outer Worlds was carried by the names of Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky while Bethesda was repeatedly fucking up. The hype was real and I wanted to like it so bad. I had to force myself to finish it and I never replayed it.
