Summer Sale is now rumored to start next Thursday as that is when Killing Floor is having a summer promotion with a new map/achievements. Additionally people have data mined summer/cruise specific achievements in a bunch of indie games so expect there to be another ARG or promo or something.

I am tempted to get Divinity II but Steam sales have made me a cheap bastard - so cheap that I'm not even willing to spring for the "lesser deals" anymore. If it's not $10 or less I'm not interested. Kinda funny how they dug their own grave on that one.

I'm kinda torn on Divinity 2. I didn't remove it from an inventory to look at it due to the giant thread with bros raving about it, then I played it all of 30 minutes and got to maybe level 3 and just kinda quit. And $20 isn't ridiculously cheap. But I kinda enjoyed that 30 minutes? I dunno.

Well, the start (Dragon Slayer camp) is kinda iffy, it gets better from there, and the addon is really pretty great. Then again, since it's midsummer sale next week, one might kinda sorta expect to see DKS on sale there.

Still, paid full price on it, was pretty pleased with the purchase, so, it's not a waste of money by any means.

They sure are writhing in agony right now. If anything they attempted to dig the grave of other services, both the big ones and the small developper stores, while being able to thrive.

Star Ruler worth five buxx or not? I do get a hankering for a 4X game once in a while but is this one worth it or should I go for something else once the sale hits?

Bit on Divinity 2. Dislike SecuROM and $20 isn't terribly cheap, but what the hell. Larian seem like fairly decent bros, and they claim they're going to remove SecuROM eventually.

Guarantee you Div 2 is cheaper in a week during the sale. I've asked on the Steam forums when they'll remove the SecuRom and they didn't reply -- despite claiming on their own that they would eventually remove it. I believe it's been at last half a year now since release and I'm pretty sure it isn't deterring piracy anymore (as if it did in the first place).

Probably is gonna be cheaper. I remember during a previous sale (Can't remember if it was winter or the "Treasure hunt") they had Amnesia on sale a week or two before, and then during the BIG sale it was cheaper.

Ah well. I've mostly come to terms with that, even if it does chap my ass a bit when it happens.

Three or four hour console shooter with some climbing/physics puzzles and it's best selling point seems to be water rendering. If you've played Mirror's Edge you've already played a superior game.

Haven't played HTTT, but as far the base game + the two previous expansions it's also available at Gamers gate for the same price but with out the whole steam DRM thing.
Now I already got it of steam my self, but the same price with less DRM can't be wrong.

Huge fucking summer sale. Most things are at least 33% off. I picked up Spectromancer complete for $5 and got the Guardians of Graxia DLC . Both are currently 75% off.

http://store.steampowered.com/sub/8675/ Paradox Fantasy Pack for $8 looks pretty good. Majesty 1 is pretty great, 2 isn't too bad, and I heard decent things about Elven Legacy. Even though I've got Majesty 1 and 2 I think I'll nab that just for the Majesty 2 DLC and Elven Legacy.
