Is there a reason why Football Manager 2013 specifically caught on?

It was the last FM that I plyed but it was quite fun. Good engine from what I remember.
I used to play this online with a few dudes and we'd always choose the German League. Lots of teams with decent squads.

It's free though, and the last time I played it only had cosmetics pay-walled, so idk if it's really fair to compare it with non-free games

Anyway, I always suspected as much. If that's true, maybe it will shut up once and for all some blizztards in here, that not only argued Battle Realms ripped of Warcraft 3, but also War3 was the first RTS with heroes.

Warlords Battlecry had already done it back in 2000.

And the heroes in WBC had more customization than your character in many "RPGs".

Different sources have different dates, the site that said today just changed to 26th so it looks like 26th to 3rd Dec is the correct date.

I don't know. I think I made a joke in the soccer thread once, but you thought I was serious. I don't post in any political threads. I'm mostly here for the rpg discussions and whatever fun can be had that has nothing to do with politics.
