I heard it's made at least bearable with last patches but i would wait at least 6 more months before i touch that pile of dung if i were you.

Depends on your expectations. If you are expecting to play an interactive noir movie, play the game. Be ready for fairly mediocre popamole mechanics though.

Don't expect to solve cases btw, game is technically an interactive movie/popamole shooter. So you will only have one level where you can solve shit.

Buy Rome 1. Half the price, half the problems, and twice the fun.
(actually much more than twice but this flowed better.)

It's very interesting and unique, but broken in several ways that frustrate. Depends on your priorities.

It's incredibly repetitive and it's magic wears off quickly, but for $4 it's worth it for the first 1-2 hours of "gameplay".

The later missions are so much better tho. It's also fun to play as bipolar PI: "What a lovely home you have here, Mam. I know you're covering for that whore, tell me where she is you conniving cow!"

So Blood Bowl Chaos edition is 80% off, does the new world cup campaign mode add 5.99 of value over the LE edition or am i just better off waiting for a bundle on it? That 60% off for previous owners should stack with sale price ffs since Chaos Edition is basically just a one dlc upgrade of the LE version anyways.

Amazon has Bethesda games for super cheap, all activate on Steam.

Don't make the same mistake I did and throw out $5 for the Doom 3 "BFG Edition" think the "lost levels" and graphics updates might be worth it. Game looks worse with all the bright lights and the first couple "lost levels" were super boring and looked exactly like the original game.

For what it's worth there's either an Arx Fatalis remake/mod coming for Doom 3 or maybe it's a Hexen one... can't remember.

LA Noire wasn't great, but I think it's worth playing. Plus, I don't understand why its facial animation technology hasn't caught on. It's so light years beyond anything else. It reminds me a bit of those old roto-scoped, Ralph Bakashi movies, or, slightly more recently, "Waking Life."

I guess it's complicated and expensive to have to act everything out, but I think it'd be worth it if you are an AAA game and have the money to blow on the budget.

Probably because the amazing faces don't mean much when the rest of the body still acts like bags of potato tied together. Look at the second video I posted up there for a reminder.

Cole doesn't give off such an uncanny valley vibe, though.

I actually like Doom 3, it's just this weird re-release that sucks. I assumed it would be at least prettier but it actually looks worse.

I actually enjoyed Fate somewhat back when I played it - but these days we have Torchlight 1 / 2 in that niche. I wonder if there is anything Fate does that Torchlight doesn't do better? Can anyone think of anything? My memory of the game is hazy. I know the class / skill system was a bit different, and it was generally more random.

Fate is like Torchlight "light" version. I dont hold the original Torchlight in high regard either, but Torchlight 2 is fucking fantastic. Wait till xmass sale and get Torchlight 2 for 5 bucks, theres really no reason to play Fate anymore nor the original Torchlight.

Fate is a game for kids, it is even more cartoonish and childish than Torchlight is, though they are very similar. Torchlight borrowed a lot from Fate: it's like more 'adult' version of Fate.
