Get Alpha Brotolol for $1 in the Humble Weekly Sale. Now is the time :D. Oh, and other Sega games, like Rome Total War.

The four base titles are a lot better than any of the $6+ bonus games. Strange business model.

Don't you know that newer is always better? You're weird.

Joking aside, I have three of the four base games already, except Hell Yeah! I assume that's the case with many people, so it's the question whether you want to pay $1 for one title. And I'm not sure whether Hell Yeah! is worth that much.

Yes, LA Noire is horrible garbage. It's like watching a made-for-Canadian-TV version of True Detective that skips every second episode while playing Mafia 2 on mute.

It's really good. Just replace diffrent gangs with nerds, bullies and other school "fractions". The city is not to big, but the attention to details and charming atmosphere really kept me in the chair. The tests that you will need to do to progress were nice addition.

Likewise I didn't like Max Payne 3 and stopped playing after 3-4 hours but I think LA Noire is worth the money

So, I'm seeing GTA complete pack (GTA3, SA, VC, GTA4 + episodes from liberty city) for E5,99 and GTA trilogy (GTA, SA & VC) for E6,24.
How does that make any fucking sense?

EDIT: Yeah, Max Payne 3 sucks, unless you really hate Brazilians, because you get to kill a lot of them in this game.

The usual, Rockstar Social Club (not sure whether you consider that DRM) and GameShield IronWrap (which definitely is DRM).

    :negative:

I remember R* Social club being a MAJOR pain in the ass when I installed GTA IV on my brothers PC. Not sure I want to infest my PC with this shit..

It absolutely is. The actual gameplay isn't anything to write home about, but the interrogations are pretty darned cool and fairly Unique.

I wish they'd made it into an adventure game instead of putting in the adventure gamey elements in around a half-assed GTA Lawman clone.

I think, with GTA IV, I could just ignore the Rockstar Social Club. You could just click that shit away in the Steam version. I don't know whether that's also true for L.A. Noire though, as I don't have the Steam version of that game and, in that case, the game wouldn't run without it. However, the Steam version will definitely install R* Social Club, as it says so in the game description.

Like many such things it's mostly now just... benign, an annoyance you must tolerate but not fundamentally broken or anything. Just create an account and sign in, you'll only have to deal with it once, ever.

I'm pretty sure you can ignore the Rockstar Social shit in all of them if you don't care about online features or multiplayer. I could be wrong though.
