So... why is the CK2 pack $40 while the vanilla game and DLC collection is far less...? I don't feel like looking through the list, anyone know offhand?

So with the Paradox sale, anyone willing to give a rundown on the true gems? I'm pretty much unfamiliar with their entire catalogue. Anything that is absolutely must-have in there?

I'd say most of their stuff is pretty decent but CK2 is the only must-have game of the bunch. There's a bit of a learning curve but since you're a Codexer you should be able to cope with it and it's well worth the effort, in my opinion.

CK2 also has a demo that you can check out before buying: http://www.crusaderkings.com/media/demos

Teleglitch if a brutally difficult top-down shooter sounds interesting to you

Yeah Teleglitch is a nice semi randomly generated roguelite top-down shooter. I have yet to get past level 4

Hmm, is the Speedball 2 remake as shitty as I've read? Fond memories of it on the Amiga...

Disney games are now on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/sale/disney_launch_sale

Also Prison Architect 66% off

I saw Pirates of the Caribbean and got excited for a second thinking it was that Sea Dogs 2 re-branded game, but it's something else. :(
Eh, I think it is that pretty much. Don't play it vanilla though, except for huge nostalgia like me, but with this mod: http://www.moddb.com/mods/new-horizons Makes it an awesome, yet flawed, game.

Yes, that is for the game I was talking about. I don't see it on the Steam list, though. I see another Pirates of the Caribbean game that isn't that one, hence my comment. Am I missing it? Or are you making the same mistake I did?
