MY NIGGUHH!!! You are basically literally the only other person I've met who has played that game. Have you also tried Jersey Devil?

from the PS games of my childhood, it's one of them that i remember the most. don't know why it wasn't more popular, i think it's a pretty perfect adventure game for kids. and rich in details.

Jersey Devil doesn't tell me anything, no.

I've never played this game before but this soundtrack is stellar.
I ain't really up on citybuilders, I hear Skylines is good. Haven't played it but my money's still on Simcity 4 as the GOAT, so if you've got a hankering for citybuilders give it a go.
The OST is fucking out of this world. Late 90s early 00s was when vidya music peaked. Nowadays you play a game you don't even notice the music, cause they specifically make it so you wouldn't notice it.
I look forward to the day when we have ourselves another industry crash.

Ys(イース)【FEENA】エレクトーン演奏 / Ys I soundtrack - Feena (electone cover/performance by Riiko)

This channel has more covers like this for music from Falcom games, I recommend checking it out

You know of any other good soundtracks from this era? Really open to finding new ones, game franchises have just homogenized too much and congealed into a gloop...especially as they try to mimic cinematic scores. For example, I literally can't think of any other soundtrack across games or movies that's like David Bergeaud's Ratchet & Clank score:

I think literally the only memorable soundtracks since early 00s have been from Japanese games, Elder Scrolls, Assassin's Creed II, Dishonored 2, the Doom franchise, and ironically some of the Call of Duty games from the Golden Era (CoD4 - BOII), which is truly regrettable. But from the last half decade? I can't think of literally a single one.

Uh, specifically in the style of Ratchet and Clank? Hell no. PS games are an utter mystery. But there's plenty of good OSTs from the early 00s. Rome Total War, Hitman Codename 47/Silent Assassin, Stronghold, Age of Mythology, Arcanum, Deus Ex.

:argh::argh::argh::argh::argh::argh::argh::argh::argh::argh::argh::argh::argh:

Anyways, right in the feels. I temporarily lived in Paris and listening to this soundtrack on repeat was cathartic because I felt so alienated by all the Eurofaggotry that I may as well have been transported a century into the future:
