Akira Yamaoka did about half of this soundtrack, and... some other dude did the other (more electronic) bits.
It's a pretty awesome game but I remember only being able to play like a few levels at a time just because of how fucking noisy the game is. Loud music, loud weapon sounds, loud explosions. It's a real actionfest.

Playing through The Returning mod for Gothic II at the moment. Stumbled upon an impromptu dance performance by Loa on Onar's farm. Of course Herr Mannelig starts playing right then, but not by In Extremo.
