remeber dildo apocalypse when CP2077 was released? There were dildos everywhere, they would stick it in your ass if they could. That was the time CDPR went full woke and hired a lot of woke activists. After that they've made a purge and fixed the game, but the damage was already done.

UE 5.6 + Ray Tracing on base PS5 at 60 FPS? No stutters too? Yeah, right. More like running on an rtx 5090 and lying about it.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
Those mountain's tops look too steep. I bet you can't climb there. Todd Howard smug

I don't even think this looks that great. There's something wrong with the color palette and the shape of the mountains. It looks TOO fantasy, too gamey, not very immersive. Like fucking UE5 Warcraft or some such. Even RDR2 blows this out of the water, let alone KCD2 (talking about the landscape, not the NPCs).

The only truly impressive thing I've seen in that video is how the trees and greenery is swaying in the wind, that shit looked finally close to realistic.

There's some very impressive particles effects if you watch the direct version my man. I am still impressed with what was shown in all that fidelity. I just love that scale shown and really hoping it'll be the same come the full release :)

The only bit of 'new' tech here seems to be the nanite geometry for foliage, which is quite cool assuming it actually runs properly. Trees/bushes/etc in games since forever have always been very hacky alpha cutoff quads mashed together, if Epic have managed to do away with that, that is a step forward.

Hard to tell how the rest of it looks giving how heavy they went on the DoF + Motion Blur.

Her design is perfect, and I am feeling confident what we see here is just going to be the same for the final result or if not better visually. Really glad they got her current Witcher journey with this saga bang on. Unreal tools have done good stuff here when a fair few studios do a worst job on character modeling.

This is what Infinitron wants the codex to be like.

Yes, Im very happy with how she looks compared to the first modelling of her

I have mentioned this before but I have accepted I will be playing W4 as a women and even though its not ideal for what I consider the Witcher world and main protagonist to be I am going to give W4 the benefit of doubt and continue to be positive because CDPR has a proven track record of delivering on great games even if there are initial speed bumps like with Cyb2077

And I recently replayed the entire Witcher series and one thing I did appreciate about W3 and playing as Ciri was seeing that tight little ass teleport around the screen in combat and killing enemies, so playing as a women has its benefits but the overall aesthetics must be right

I don`t mind playing as a woman/Ciri with this coming saga as it`ll be an interesting take to go through lens of someone we know but yet will be starting fresh in some regards than being Geralt and all his experience we had. But I do hope they add a lot of depth having some interesting situations that can enrich the experience due to playing as her and not anyone else.

The main issue I have with playing as a women in the Witcher world is not because Im a sexist or incel

Its because I fundamentally believe the whole Witcher world and lore is designed as a " mans world " and I like that

I think of all the many examples of this in w1-3 like getting drunk with the boys and the Romance arcs and the whole theme of Geralt saving a " damsel in distress "

Its a cliché and trope but its one I identify with and enjoy

But as I mentioned that isnt a reason W4 cant deliver on the whole Ciri journey and experiences but as you said they need to have depth and provide new engaging situations

CDProjekt says it's the exact same model.
Its annoying when any developers have to lie about this type of thing because they want to avoid the woke backlash

" oh so you changed the model because she wasnt attractive enough and didnt look like a women....it OUTRAGEOUS that you think a women can look like a women and be hot " :-D

Like many Eastern European women, Ciri is incredibly hot but from certain angles you suddenly realize she's going to be a babushka someday.
Fortunately, some of us realize she is just on TV and she won't age with us.

I know this is just a tech demo but even if the actual game ends up looking as good I'm just not interested in playing as Ciri. Also it doesn't help that CDPR is still filled to the brim insufferable activist types who are still trying to push agendas.
