There is a great leak of interface's comfort in Codex

As title states, I have encountered a great problem with your site. There is no link to main page [news] under the picture
header.jpg
.
It should work like this -

Dont lough, its serious problem for me because I have to manually edit address bar to quickly get back to main-page. I know its possible to do the same by clicking some little icon somwhere..maybe on that toolbar, but its not intuitive and certaintly not comfortable,so I suggest you tweak the code a bit adding some <a ..> tag. Please.

Heh, I'd never managed to equate the "news" button with the main page, either. Now I feel like a big ditz, but at least some good came out of this silly topic.

Click the damn news link. The problem with linking the header with the main page is that it isn't an <img src =>, It's a background in CSS that reduces server load.

Furthermore, linking the big header would cause people to accidentally click on it, leading them back to the main page. I'd find that rather frustrating, actually.

Didn't some one Tubgirl the MF team during a dev chat; either that or some one attempted to? Any way we need to keep this thread alive to see how many people are stupid... er... curious enough to open the link.

Danke. It's all true, too. I'm sad that I never finished Bard's Tale III.
I'm just glad to see someone mocking TFFanboiguard's astoundingly pretensious sig. Plus I suck at most games, too. Oh, how many games I've uninstalled in frustration... Is this what it's like when doves cry?

What the hell are you talking about? From this very page's HTML:
Code:
<table width="100%"  border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" background="/image/syndicate2/header-back.jpg">
  <tr>
    <td width="750" height="80" class="header"><img src="/image/syndicate2/header.jpg" width="750" height="80" align="top"></td>
    <td valign="middle">&nbsp;</td>
  </tr>
</table>
Not only is that NOT CSS, it's still an image. Browsers are still going to cache and reload it as they like according to the HTTP spec. How does that reduce server load?

OH.

I must be thinking of the old CSS script I used to have for the header.

Oh well.

Just click on News. It's not too hard, is it?
