Timezone issue?

    We should go over to some system with some power of two as base, say hexadecimal (as binary is too impractical).
    Decimal is quite embarassing as it's reminescent of counting one one's fingers.

    Your confusion possibly comes from the fact that back in the day, meaning the 19th century and earlier, there was no such concept as "hour zero". You had the first hour of the morning, then the second etc, then the first of the afternoon and so on. Like there is no year 0 AD or 0 BC, scientific standardization leads to us thinking measurements of things should range from zero to whatever number or to infinity.

    Nah, either use the 00:00 - 24:00 system (where 00:00 still is the same as 24:00 OMG) or change it to some fitting decimal system *g*
