Goddamnit people, out of all problems nwn2 had font size is not the one.
I never had any problem with nwn1 or nwn2 fonts and my monitors never were huge wall panels either; and in 2002, when NWN1 came out, 17" were a norm. In fact NWN1's font isn't smaller than the one in Fallout - and somehow I never noticed people jumping out of the window just because Fallout is too small on the monitors that were hardly two times wider than two average cocks.

What's your point? It's 2008 and we're having 22" with 1920x1080, not 2002, nor 1997 where I was not quite happy with my 15" and 800x600.

Bigger screen doesn't mean bigger text

CRT 19" 4/3 - playing a game at 1024x768 - dot pitch: 0,383mm
LCD 19" 5/4 - 1280x1024 - dot pitch: 0,294mm
LCD 24" wide 16/10 - 1920x1200 - dot pitch: 0,270 mm

NWN2 is pretty much unreadable at native resolution on most new LCD (unless you're sitting 20cm away from the screen).

You are missing a point. The point is that there were tinier looking fonts than SoZ's one back in the days and it wasn't a problem.
