Our guild Tyranny of Choice is still hiring all those who haven't yet showed unwavering commitment to Guild Wars and our guild. We have 35/100 spots filled, so there's no need to be snide. We need more people to start guild vs guild battles efficiently with solid groups. Since our guild originated from Codex, this is the first place to come gather new recruits. Now I know there are people here (even regulars, really shameful) who haven't yet gotten into gw. IT*S NEVER TOO LATE TO JOiN !

On a side note Guild Wars has been updated and improved on weekly basis. And Anet has promised free extra content (Anet interview inside) to be released on this summer. If you're totally new to Guild Wars, here's some sites that cover the game well.
GW official page
GWOnline fan site
GW Guru fan site
GW review at Gamespot

As always, to submit yourself, post your character name in one of the gw threads or pm it ingame. Join us puhlleeeeeeeezzzzz
Remember kiddoes, GW is like the matrix. Once you jack in yourself to the dremland, you don't come out.

PS. Inside Guild notes:
-Officers, let's go on recruit spree (we can always ban bad players).
-Regulars, if you spot good players (without guild if possible) don't hesitate to tell officers their names, so they can be invited. Telling the possible recruit he/she/it is gonna be invited is recommended so they know what's up.
-Unfortunately half the guild at the moment hasn't been playing over a month or so. We don't need to ban these people or force them to play, but some status check would be nice.

Err... so does that mean we got the Guild Hall now? Which one did Ex pick?

No, but we only need to make together a vote for it.
Since we have sigil, we practically can get hall anytime we want.

I would go for Guild Wars, but these MMOG type games are such huge timesinks and I tend to get bored of them too quickly.

Bu..bu..but fez, gw isn't really mmo. There is no real need for grind since you can buy best armors from shops with relatively cheap price. Max weapons aren't hard to come by either.
Anet isn't really interested supporting farmers and they have added rune traders so runes don't anymore cost insane amounts like before (excluding few exceptions). Sides pvp characters start with max ac armor and mx dmg weapons.

I'm not going to lie. Third of the guild hasn't been online for month, second third plays sometimes and the last third consists of us regular players. But that is why we are hiring new people. By joining us, you also help our guild to grow.

Maybe it's because Guild Wars kind...oh I dunno, sucks?

Just throwing that out there.
Eh, I like its PvE game. Its PvP game is pretty lame (compared to other MMOs), though. And the game is in DESPERATE need of better itemization (more armor is the biggest thing, but jewelry slots would be nice too, and jesus it needs UNIQUE items. And more craftable weapons).

I really don't play much GW anymore. I'm just waiting to see what they'll do with the PvE (as I've finished the game on2 characters) before I return. I play PVP from time to time but I can't be arsed to put on my headset anymore.

Err... then maybe you shouldn't be the guild leader?

Yeah, it's much better when the people who have been playing the longest/have the best items automatically win

That hasn't been fixed. Nubs that get rushed to the highest-level cities have access to some of the more powerful skills via skill trainers, and then can turn around and use those to get a whopping advantage in PvP. Or, melee characters twinked with high-grade crafted armor or maxed out weaponry, or Purple/Gold weapons (since there's no level requirement on items), just rawfulpwn everything. A twinked W/Mo is basically unstoppable in the first few arenas, as the only hope you have of killing one is getting a Mesmer with the precise skill setup and the intelligence to use his skills to shut the W/Mo down instead of just spamming Conjure Phantasm on anything that moves then bitching when the team gets steamrolled.
