Is that what people mean by 'trolling'? You were just looking to get some kind of reaction from people? Or were you trying to prove that you are clever enough to post a fake link? As I said, for me it was only the slightest of annoyances due to noscript. Did you not realize that your link wouldn't work for people who aren't running javascript or flash by default? We don't even see the first frame of a video. Are you familiar with noscript? Browsing the web with javascript and flash enabled is like fucking a bunch of cheap whores without a condom.

I was browsing in the university library. It was funny.

There is to be a playthrough of PST by several devs that worked on it. That is going to be glorious, too.
The Developer Retrospective? That will probably take the shape up of developer diaries/blogs, so writeups, not a playthrough.
Hmm... i thought they would do a voiceover of sorts. A commentary for the game.... - whatever. Still good.
I think there was a suggestion for TToN team to record a dev commentary that we could turn on and listen while we play.
It was a pretty cool feature in Riddick: Butchers bay.

But, thats nothing that needs to be addressed now.

I'd always wished there had been a director's commentary for FEAR (the first/good game of course). For 3 reasons:
(1) So that when you get to the elevator room with blood and body parts literally everywhere and the psychic chick goes 'there was some sort of battle here', the commentator could finally admit that she's either not really psychic, or is the WORST PSYCHIC EVER.
(2) To explain to the retards that Paxton Fettel (in the first game) is not evil - he's entirely correct in deciding at the start of the game that the Armacham executives deserve to die, he deliberately leaves the player (his brother) alive after knocking him out, and many many other times when he could have killed him easily. He also does literally everything he can to avoid a massacre / direct confrontration with the military (who he views as innocent pawns), with most of the game consisting of him getting just far enough into an armachan facility to leave evidence for the main character and then evacuating before Delta Force can catch up (even though they're depicted as having a pretty good chance v Delta Force if he HAD decided to fight them. Hell, he even chooses to let his brother kill him once he's given all the pieces needed to let the FEAR team know what Armacham has done, because he can't bring himself to shoot his own brother.
(3) To explain to the retards (in the first game at least - they screwed the lore with the later games) that Alma isn't the one trying to attack her son...her son (the PC) is attacking HER. She's just defending herself, and again if you manage to drive her 'enraged' self off at the end she gets a moment of clarity where she returns to viewing you as her baby that was stolen.

But mainlly the first one. I literally fell off my chair laughing when the entire boardroom and elevators were covered in blood, corpses and body parts, and the psychic chick says 'I sense there was some form of violence in this room';. NO FUCKING SHIT LADY!!!

Never seen not being able to fuck make people this excited.

I can't brofist.

"no relationships of the flesh" is a highly weird and mannered euphemism to use

Say "no hookups" or "no implied-sex blackscreens"

Yes

Or were you trying to prove that you are clever enough to post a fake link?
No really.

As I said, for me it was only the slightest of annoyances due to noscript.
I'm happy that you didn't get annoyed.

Did you not realize that your link wouldn't work for people who aren't running javascript or flash by default?
Obviously.

We don't even see the first frame of a video.
Yes, I know.

Are you familiar with noscript?
Yes, obviously.

Browsing the web with javascript and flash enabled is like fucking a bunch of cheap whores without a condom.
That's the cliches post that I've seen this week. Utterly boring.

When Colin talked about the setting it sounded much more enticing to me than Monte talking about it. Too many fantasy sounding proper nouns for things. Like the Amber Pope, so obviously named such to try to hook my attention, but hamfistidly done. At least the beyond was just the beyond and "the crimson wasteland".

Yeah keep Monte Cook away from publicity. And tell Colin to stare straight into the camera and be agonizingly sincere, he sucks at cute irony like MCA could do in his sleep.

In fact just have the CEO kid deliver all updates

CEO kid would be amazing discussing Nietzschian philosophy and why there will be no romances.

But that's not all. The update also has a bit to say about what the nature of the dialogue and the companions in Torment. Here's a snippet that is relevant to the Codex's interests:

god, how i wish they would include just one romanceable character...but the twist is that at the end it is revealed to be some shapeshifting chimeric monster with a heart of evil gold who betrays you if you have ever violated the sanctity of their flesh, thus rendering your entire playthrough moot..

Maybe her name could be... Saya?

Love, which comes in many forms, is certainly relevant when exploring themes of legacy, abandonment, and mystery – and we expect to explore this emotion in ways that fits the story and characters. Meaningful friendships, even feelings of affection, will be possible, but relationships of the flesh would be inconsistent with our narrative.

If Brofists were working for me I'd brofist you Kosmonaut :D

Meat spin is like an internet rite of passage, you simply must have seen at least one spin in your life. That said I'm happy I have flash block as I saw the meat spin before.

No sex with party members, and some people are butthurt about it? This is strange, I'm sure there will be lots of prostitutes, like in Sigil.

I suppose certain characters could do like Morte did and get buffed, polished and waxed.

Wow, that sounded much less obscene in my head...

Monte Cook is still an unapologetic hack I see.

Sounds like a confirmation of romances to me. Are all you boys really just scared of virtual cooties?

Would be inconsistent with the narrative. Hopefully this isn't neckbeard land anymore.
