I already remarked this. If they keep these colors I will never get over it :D

We want to be very deliberate with where and how we use the Tide colors. We also want to accommodate colorblindness as best we can. These considerations led us to some unconventional color choices for the Stats. (And we also feel it is appropriate for a Torment game to betray typical conventions and expectations for such things.)

Reminds me of Dune. After having grown up with Dune 2, it took me forever to get used to House Atreides being red and green, and House Harkonnen being blue and orange.

I...don't really have a problem with this as I kind of liked the way Septerra looked and it had some level of weirdness that would be fitting for Torment.

I had never heard of Septerra Core, but looking by google images it looks nothing like T:ToN

Plus, characters don't represent the designer's personal life, most of the time. That character could be a jerkoff, doesn't mean the designer is.

I sure hope the papyrus font usage is temporary.

For colour blind you put in an optional colour blind mode like other games. For being different, sometimes being different for different sake is a worse option.
Think about if this is going to improve the play time for the players or are they going to spent too much time mixing up colors and getting frustrated. 3 colors have to be different to be recognizable at a glance. Red/blue/green combinations are used for a reason, they were not randomly chosen.

What do tide colors have to do with stats?

I guess Codex doesn't count
Got that right.

Personally I have no objections against that obelisk. It's intrusive, immersion-breaking and monstrously ugly. Which means it'll remind me not to buy anything made by Razer. If it were something subtle (like Razer logo engraved on some wall in a pattern), I'd be much more irritated.

Oh yeah totally I was being jovial, that being said, the fact that actual devs from TTON post here does show how confident they are about their game and our expectations.

Goons and their money are easily parted, it's a sound business decision.

I'm talking about what Brother None said ("anyone on forums or in feedback forms...No one did").

I guess Codex doesn't count
Sorry, that was perhaps vaguely stated: I wanted to see if anyone made any remarks on it looking out of place. No one did *until* it was explicitly called out as a backer obelisk. That's a good sign, I think.

I still won't notice it because I can't even remember it now.

I thought Sister Nun loved me, but that was until I realised that I was but another icicle in his freezer.
