One man's tedium is another man's comfort. You're on a forum for RPG's. Undeniably, RPG's are the most autistic genre of games to ever exist.
I mean, it was more of a lame tongue-in-cheek comment than an actual judgement. I don't exactly exclude myself from the autistic pool.

4. Mount and blade has the feature that the low levels mobs flee from you.

I remember being impressed with Pool of Radiance on the C64 - the first fantasy RPG I ever played - and that the goblin trash mobs that gave you trouble in early levels wouldn't engage you at mid-high level. "We''ll let you pass - this time." It added just that little bit more of immersion. Surprised more RPGs post-SSI never seemed to do this much
