Firing Squad has posted an interview with Two Worlds developers.

First, how did the idea for Two Worlds come about?
First off, we wanted to do something that was for a home console. This meant creating an immediately fun pick-up-and-play kind of experience.
Another fun console game. Yay!

What can you tell us about the storyline for the game?
...we didn’t want to have a plot that’s been played a thousand times before. In Two Worlds, you start off as an experienced mercenary embarking with your team on a pretty cut and dry mission. En route, you’re attacked and one of your fellow party members (who also happens to be your sister) goes missing. You go in search of your sister, but get involved in a larger plot where you eventually have the fate of the world in your hands.
In search of a kidnapped party member who also happened to be your sister... Nope, doesn't ring any bells.

What can you tell us about the graphical features in the game?
In short, they’re spectacular.
*instant orgasm*

Will there be a playable demo released for the game and if so what will it contain?
Two Worlds is so expansive, it didn’t seem right to us to unfairly try to encapsulate it with a demo.
Yes, God forbid players try the game first and discover that it's another overhyped and empty title. We can't have that, can we?

Whoa, there's a fan package available that comes with the ultimate uninstall wizard - a real 90 cm sword. For Hara-kiri, no doubt.

In BG 2 you had to save your sister, only to find out that the entire fate of the world is upon your hands. Exactly the same.

Wrong. You surely meant TWO worlds. Hence the name of the game. R00fles!

Yes, but then again you could choose to kill her at the end. For every consequence a choice, and in reverse. I'm sure Two Worlds won't have that kind of roleplaying.

    (OMG SPOILER, btw)

Mmmh, this gets more and more interesting... I still hate those games that incorporate players actions skills and use the shitty ULTIMA UNDERWORLD combat system, but this I might actually be some positive suprise.

    @Vault Dweller
    Why the negativity again?

    Yesterday I read

    Vault Dweller wrote

and today it is just a piss-poor OBLIVION rip-off again?

Don't show Volourn so much of your ass, as he tends to kick it instantly.

Unfortunately, "better and deeper than Oblivion" doesn't actually implies that the game is good and has depth, thanks to the incredibly low standards that Oblivion had established.

Did Pete Hines get a job with that company? That sounds eerily familiar.

I ma cautiously oiptimistic about this game. Unlike most, I don't get super worked up about dialogue choices and story. If the game offers good playability, interesting character development, and fun stuff to see/find I will enjoy it. If the main quest is interesting that will be good enough for me.
