In fact it speaks volumes about the depravity of the poster of this tasteless "joke". We're not quite 4Chan yet and can at least have a minimum niveau. This is sickening and people who condone this - posters and admins - are showing just as much depravity.

I hate Nazis as much (well...probably a lot more...) as the next guy...but this is the damn internet. Free speech is king unless it is illegal in international waters (aka snuff films, certain pornography, etc.) and it should be maintained as such by the private administrators of sites.

Greetings DAC. I wanted to take this moment to let you all know about a certain development here at DAC. It was brought to my attention that a certain member of the forums, TNP, was repeatedly using racist/nazi/anti-semetic insults/attacks/etc throughout the forums. After being repeatedly warned against such things, the moderation staff suggested we ban him. After much deliberation, it was decided as such.
DAC is a very open place, and we don't really censor much of anything that goes on here, but there is a boundary. We will no longer tolerate posts that blatantly support nazism, antisemitism, racism, etc. There really is no point to such posts. They offer no worthwhile contributions to any sort of topic of discussion here at DAC, even in the Wasteland. Moderators are going to be taking a stricter attitude towards posts such as this.
In addition, some of the avatars of DAC users now fall under this category of scrutiny and need to be changed. I would appreciate it if you changed them on your own instead of me having to tell you.
I would appreciate cooperation in this matter. TNP was taking it too far and was banned. Please don't make me ban anyone else. Thanks.

So get rid of that pic already, I'd appreciate if Nicolai would just do it himself. I understand how it's meant to be funny, and I've no hard feelings, but certain things shouldn't be trivialized so easily.

I dont understand how nazi rantings of someone can possibly have any effect on anything. Are the tops worried that it will give a negative impression of the forums? Most people would fight against the nazi anyhow.
Sure, he is a nazi. And we should ban him from a forum just because of his views? The personal insults would eventually drive TNP away anyway.
Banning any nazi talking is dumb. Its natural to be hateful of those different. Should we all pretend to love our arab brothers and openly accept China as the world leader? Particulary it didnt make any sense of VD to warn Riso about a comment he threw around in IRC, which wasnt even the Codex channel.
