What's with spells like Precognition? Who in his right mind would spend 25 psi points per round for 20% dodge and evasion?

I was just about do dump dozens of skillpoints into Temporal Manipulation when I realized there's a cap on PTC at 148 points. I'm at 123/154 now. Dodged a bullet

So I was looking through the Wiki a bit and there really seems to be very limited use of a higher TM skill than ~150. Or am I missing something?

Precognition is the only way to reach the true evasion/dodge cap of 10% otherwise its impossible to reach.
Only evasion, you can reach 10% THC on melee from skill alone. Try picking Carnifex with low melee skill and you would get exactly 10% THC

Eidein also why you don't do the training grounds fight? It's definitely in the top three of ball breaking encounters
Ask and ye shall recieve.

Is this vers or 10 PER build?

Also, where does the +15% opp attack bonus come from?

Build in the description, yes its a vers SI build.

At what level you stopped using knifes and transitioned to pistols?

I just kind of dual wielded them until I was done with depot.

Has anyone ever done the psychophract variant of the training grounds fight without tm? Hardest fight in the game by far.
Altermann posted many attempts of training grounds, but all with regular exosoldiers

I can't do even the regular one, the shit is broken. I managed to spawn two squads, but never all and I can't repeat it

I would like to try psychophract version with full crit AR, but yeah, no way without TM

High mobility build seems like a good candidate. You can stealth for a while until they no longer encircle you, then kite around the map. They don't have much mobility

My 18 AG build seems like it could have some chances there (shit damage, but lots of mobility), but it will require killing enough regular soldiers to get the psychos spawn - no fun with such shit damage

18 AG sniper could be even better, you would regularly outrange them since they can't attack father than 11 squares. You told you did 18 AG sniper before, this could be it

It looks like it was broken with Hotfix 1.2.0.18

  • [Heavy Duty] Fixed being able to summon exosoldiers at the training grounds in The Compound even if none are available

Tomorrows a national holiday. First of May, German workers day. Introduced by the Fuhrer himself.

This means I'll have some fierce gaming tonight. Playing Underrail in the name of DEM FÜHRER!

I think you need a melee build if you go the kiting route, fancy footwork knife probably.

Bro Underral is the king of exploration for me. What is some easily missable sidecontent here is some pseudo-retro-pixelgraphic roguelike developers whole game

You stumble over some random npc on the rig and he makes you find a dungeon you can spend 3hrs in and find amazing gear it's so fun. I also like the whole core ring expansion of the original world. It makes the south Underrail feel really complete now. Cruising around with jetskis here and exploring turned out great

Trolling UR bros with some crazy SS pieces is the best. GL. Although I'm not sure the data search was a thing until some patch. Fuck, I'm not even sure SS was a thing itself in vanilla.

I think it was a thing in Vanilla. I remember people on the dex discussing their hauls from turning in coins. I played a leather slut back than though so I did not commit

How come other Jetskis completly destroy me with EMP's but when I throw a MK3 at them nothing at all happens?

Yes I meant SS in general, my bad. And on that note I found the fourth refining data!

I produced a 174 and a 161 quality SS yesterday. Pretty good I would say. Quad Supersteel gives me again 95 armor penalty though. Two plates seems to be the sweet spot.

The only thing the second plate quality changes is the prices though. Honestly I don't know what to think about this. Is this a good armor?

I played a Metal Fist combo Monk where I used Super Steel Armor and Blades in conjunction with some feats to make a set of armor that was below 20% Armor Penalty to ensure I could use the Lightning Fists feat. It featured the best combination of tankiness and movement of any build that I've ever made and was a ton of fun. If you're trying to minimize armor penalty, using only one plate is ideal, but if you don't have the prerequisite feats/agility, just going max on armor penalty and relying on Sprint for repositioning is likely ideal.

This is my build. Currently level 27

Instead Sprint I have TM. But I find it very irritating to not be able to move at least some without using a spell/feat/med.

One more int for Armor Sloping did not fit in, but the way I see it it's around 10 damage reduction (fire/mec/energy) without additional armor penalty. So I might as well just take Conditioning and have nearly the same outcome, just without spending another statpoint.

On the other hand I have improved Stoicism, so once my health drops to SI levels I might be already immune to all Mechanical and Energy attacks. At 20% health it should reduce 30% of all damage. So the armor above might already be my sweetspot? Once you go for 95% AP I don't really see the advantage over taking Tungsten.

At least against Faceless it could be good (I think). Midgame I was mostly wearing a Antirifle overcoat with nearly 100 treshold against firearms. Or the CAU armor with Grey Spec OP helmet and Bio Hazard boots in the Black Sea. Both were tanky and allowed me to go over 50% Armor Penalty for Heavy Metal and Juggernaut without losing all mobility.

Guess I just have to test it. I have so many nice mats laying around for some nice new Tactical Vests as well, so it's hard to make up my mind. There's only one 160 quality regenvest.

Honestly I might just go 4 Plates armor and Nimble + Bodyweight Training. With Heavy Metal I profit in damage from every bit of Armor Penalty I wear, plus the resistance I get.

So if I replace Monster Hunter + Conditioning with Nimble + Bodyweight Training and heavier armor I might just come out on top statswise.

And not just with metal armor, but I can also start throwing Kevlar on my tactical vests and it works universally.

I want to know what Styg was thinking when he put that ****** death crawler near the entrance of the zone in lower underrail. Since he integrated the anticheese cooldown on starting combat everytime you enter a zone that creature of Satan kept killing me even though I had max initiative and it started combat way too fast.

I managed to kill that ***** with caltrops.
