What about the Reedemer?

Undying (2001) used the same concept for the Phoenix weapon 2 years later

I love this game so much and it only gets better after a couple of drinks.

Well deserved spot in my list of top 10 games of all time. I should probably reinstall. Deck 16 was my favorite map.

I love it too. Can you beat the final mission after a few drinks? He beats me if I don't play at my best. I also have to be a camper whore etc.

Quake 3 was better.

It had the cooler looking custom skins and models, but everything about the gameplay was inferior. People made more stuff for it because its engine was more advanced and offered more eye candy. Some got ported over to UT'99, but most of it didn't.

I made the choice to not buy UT'99 when I still had the chance, because that massive deposit of mods, music, maps, models and skins I had for it are lost to time, and can't be found online anymore. Q3A has at least one site that still offers models and skins for download that were originally reviewed at Polycount when they still did that somewhere around the early 2000's. The ChaosUT pack might still be somewhere too. One of my all-time favorite custom models was the "Jarhead" - a spider mech with a liquid-filled jar on top and a female head inside. A simple low-poly model with no wasted animation frames, but executed perfectly. It even included a splash sound effect that played during a certain taunt where the head bounces out of the jar and sticks its tongue out. It had some great custom skins from other authors also, that were perhaps better than the default one.

Wait, lots of things are actually hosted on Unreal Archive, but few of those Polycount screenshots have survived. Freeky][ and Decorative Bronze were the skinpacks, and the better one Freeky's screenshots are broken on UA.

Q>U>Q2>>>>UT>Q3

Note: UT, Q3 and Concord belong to the same genre.
