New patch? I tried it just under a year ago and couldn't find any way to make it work without horrific stuttering (not a frame rate issue). It was patched up to whatever the latest was at that point.
I had the same issue, tried everything up to and including some hex editing fix to solve it. No dice. Let me know if the patch helps, I really want to try OFP.

So how do you beat the fight where you are on the train and there is a plasma turret, and you are fighting the ork dropship? Clearly what I'm doing is wrong (using plasma gun to shoot dropship then dying trying to fight the nob and hardboys (I guess those are what the dual wielding orks are supposed to be) it drops)

I died twice trying to fight the nobs on melee, until I decided to just stay back shooting charged plasma balls on them.

Just finished it. Shitty boss fight is shitty.

Titus is totally not the villain in the sequel.

Yeah I guess I should stop hoping for another interesting story from Relic (at least on par with Chaos Rising..).

Chaos Rising sounded interesting until it was clear that "Corruption" was just another "complete all sub-objectives for the Good+ ending" mechanic. Also, I'm not really a fan of how Chaos are portrayed in Relic games.

I remember a handful of sub objectives giving corruption (like, wreck a statue to get +++ artifacts and corruption), so it wasn't just incompetence points.

And yes, Chaos is mostly awful in Reric games :?

Shouldn't games set in famous settings be held up to higher standards than the generic masses, not the opposite?

Was thinking same thing but then maybe people are starving for WH40 video games so they are glad that at least something gets done with the setting.
Speaking of starving for Wh40k stuff, have you played the Wh40k mod for OFP?

Is this mod any good? Or just good for WH fix?

There's a HUGE WHITE TEXT saying that you can take the weapon with you. The fuck man? Do you need it flashing in all rainbow colours perhaps?

I don't know, I kinda hate most of post-Rogue Trader Wh40k. Still, it's the more realistic depiction of the Wh40k universe than any other Wh40k game except maybe Space Hulks and the unofficial Space Hulk game.
It has Death Korps of Krieg and I think I've read about someone working on a Siege of Vraks campaign, though I don't think it's going a realistic depiction taking in account what putting hundreds of AI soldiers would do to OFP performance.

Well, I have tried playing it and no, it isn't good. All the models seem to be ripped of from DoW, most of weapons don't have gunsights, there's a Baneblade that doesn't have interior graphics, tanks have messed up detection, so they mostly won't open fire at infantry that stands in the open, there are officer models that have a sword that can't be sheathed and gets in the way when wielding a rifle, etc. etc. etc.
It's nowhere near the quality of mods like FFUR and Liberation 1941-45.
