dude, 99.9999% of warframe content is meant to be a 4 members team effort.
Last time I played, 99.9999% of warframe content is meant to be one person auto-killing everything in a 200m radius with some kind of aura while everyone else sits around and waits for the map to end.

One of the reasons why i quit and never came back, aside from autistic levels of grind and the devs using players fear of missing out in their shitty events they used to launch every month.

Was fun at the beginning with all the wall running, sliding, decapitating enemies and mid air shooting compared to average game like this. But i enjoyed it in solo, coop was always unfun rush b kinda experience. I don't have any idea what this game is nowadays.

1% of it is meant to be done with 4 people, some of it can be done with 2, and the rest can be soloed which is a good thing since the nerve clusters that pass for the average Warframe player's brain means you'll be doing most of the work anyway.

It's the same thing... with an empty open-world where you kill hordes of trash mobs, go fishing and complete objectives.

There is also a story campaign that goes apeshit.

Speaking of, I'm getting ready for The New War, and while I know it's quite long I've also heard horror stories about people getting softlocked because their stuff that is not directly tied to their Warframes is underleveled. Now, I have a half-decent Archwing, my Railjack has upgrades on all the basics but that arm brace the Operator uses has gone untouched. Will I be okay if I tried the story mission or can I expect to eat shit because my Operator?

I never paid attention to the story and back then and there wasn't much thankfully. Dread to think what kind of story campaign there is now, given how their lard ass community manager used to have a self insert in the game, with the most annoying voice too, literally blabbering players ears off non stop. And now she is a "creative director" at the company.

She even "accidentally" called their entire playerbase losers at some convention.

I can't think of a point where you'd get softlocked there, the default stuff required for quests is enough. Most of what the operator does there is apply void element to strip the defenses from enemies that tank everything otherwise.

(that part does require you to listen to what Teshin is saying so maybe it was retards ignoring him and getting stuck)

edit: wait, you already did War Within so you mean Second War. You might want to make the first amp (the arm brace) you can craft. I still don't think you'd get stuck but it's a big improvement over the default. Railjack should be fine, easier if you can hire some NPC crewmates but not required. Archwing too.

You still need a necramech from Deimos, though...so you'll have to take a detour to Deimos first, or buy one for platinum. :M

Yeah I fucked up, I ment The New War. So I do have to craft that new arm brace, got it.

And I'm in luck with the Necramech: apparently they changed it either in the most recent update of the one before that where if you don't own a Necramech they lend you one for free.

i started duviri paradox because i had no idea what it was and because it wasn't new war which i'm probably never going to touch.
what's this poor man broke ass bum hobo's dark souls? really? like, for real? and then, 5 minutes in, you're back to mincemeating everything.
and why does all of this make absolutely no sense whatsoever? i mean, a whole lot less than your average warframe lore horrifically terrible mess.

It makes no sense because it happens concurrently with the quest you decided to skip.

(though that's not entirely fair. The game even lets you pick that as your first quest ever as a new player, long before you can play New War. It's a time paradox so there will be an explanation eventually for why it starts in medias res and who is the new guy)

i had a moment of weakness, i clicked on the "new war". i got a pop-up informing me that it'd contain strong teens, verbal violence and other modern horrors, with a futher prompt to accept. so, you're supposed to be able to refuse that, and if you do... no access to the best equipment, fuck you. sounds totally reasonable.

Come to think of it Warframe is just another p2w gacha slop. Although it's worse than chink gachas because it's full of gay shit nowadays.

I don't remember Warframe making you stand there and listen to 5 hours of uninterrupted dialogue before throwing you into a flappy bird minigame while a floating baby talks for you.
And it's also not p2w in any way if nearly all frames can break the game in their own way.

There's plenty of that shit in Warframe too. It is p2w in many ways. There are "press one button to kill everything on screen" frames and then there are others.
