I heard that Bethesda and Zenimax made a ton of donations and they are going to cancel them within the last 10 minutes of the kickstarter so that it fails and the dominance of popamole will continue so that they can keep bathing in retard's money.

I already thought about this as well... there seem to be some trolls on the forum anyway

Most of the new donations for the next 30 days will be in the $15 category.

The $$ total will slowly build from here on out, but the actual number of donators will increase dramatically.

That is my prediction.

Right now we are at about 20,000 donators and 1.2 million.

By the time we get to 1.35 million I suspect we will be at about 30,000 donators.

If it gets to 1.5 million then I would imagine there will be around 40,000 donators which is 2x as many people.

That is more impressive than the rise in actual funds, and shouldn't be overshadowed by the focus on the money.

The average amount per donation actually hasn't dropped all that much since the goal was reached. It's gone from $57 to $54. For comparison, DFA's was $38

I read somewhere that DF's actually started lower, and then climbed up.

He rounded the number up.
I would like my pay check to get a simular 10% round up.
Who wouldn't?:) But he wasn't talking brain surgery, science or finances, he was just talking about the rough number of unique artefacts in a game, so there was no need to state a relatively arcane figure, like 181, instead of the rounder and catchier 200.

Codex should get to 10000 $ and send some kwanzanian to the party.
Prediction: If they keep making videos and give regular interviews with relevant info they should reach the 2.000.000 $, they could do even better if they really try.
Edit: Our object should be a monocle that gives - 10 to human diplomacy and + 10 to rat diplomacy

They didn't offer the box at $100 until after the first week iirc.

The Codex item should be the ring, which you have to equip to visit the Codex shrine, otherwise you're tastefully raped by a multiheaded dick hitting ass and leg.

I'd like a codex best.

Yes, so that it's obvious to those scum at the Watch what it references.

"Examine"

This is a hefty tome, bound in a strange hide, pages encrusted and stained. While barely decipherable, it appears to be the collected wisdom of thousands of voices of rage; yet about what, you have no idea. All that you are certain is that it was once some sort of fantasy book as it is full of trolls.

"...full of tunnels and trolls," then. St. Andre should like that. :P

What I mean is, apart from the "rage" bit, that could as well be an old T&T manual reference.

The $10,000 doesn't cover your expenses, so it would have to be someone that lives in California. Unless people here feel like playing for someone's free vacation.

Seems they will be making the first sub-goal tonight. There really needs to be a codex-raising-the-flag emoticon. :salute:

C'mon, it's a joke. :P

Still, $10000 = $5000 (shrine/statue) + 2x$2500 (two artifacts) :P

I think that going to that party is predicated on being able to cover all the travel expenses to California. From what I know, DU lives in Australia, so the travel expenses may be... quite expensive. If we get to $10000, I think that the better option would be to negotiate with BF in order to get something else instead of the party invitation.

Or we could get two statues: The first would be the Codex troll and the second would be a dragon, symbolizing the popamole and the decline. The two statues would be set up in such a way so that the ensemble would depict the Codex troll slaying the popamole dragon.:D
