My position is asking anybody "Why did you pledge to a Wasteland game if Wasteland-style things seem to turn you off?" Pretty simple. Nothing about specifics here, just an overall observation from the initiation of this particular KS.

So nothing specific here, but based on your overall observations, you theorize that there are yet to be named people who exhibit a pattern of disliking Wasteland-style things but who have still pledged to Wasteland 2. And you'd like these hypothetical anybodies to address their incongruous behavior?

Can't say I can help with that but if you hear from any of them, I'd be oh so curious to learn of it.

I said since the initiation of the KS. Are you daft, son?

EDIT: "nothing specific here" meaning I am not simply addressing the latest piece of concept art on the last few pages but the overall and continuing attitudes of a moderately-sized handful of people who have been seemingly perpetually disappointed with the pieces of information or concept art which appear to me to be reminiscent of the original game (either in style or spirit).

I am sorry this has been so trying for you to comprehend.

Well now that it is crystal-clear who you are questioning I'm sure your answer is forthcoming. :bounce:

You're right. Nobody displaying a certain tendency could ever possibly be so self-aware that they'd understand they are being addressed. That's why a few have already responded, butthurt notwithstanding.

I'm only disappointed about specific things, such as the keyword system (which is retroactively not a problem), and certain aspects of the design.

Wasteland 2, as a whole, still appears to be a good thing to put hope in.

Who cares about the realism-factored integrity of having mini nukes? Just another tactical option in combat ie make sure to kill the sucker at a safe distance and take out his buddies around him.

I do have a hunch that people are actually going to be surprised with this (though I will be one of the first to admit I'm wrong if I end up hating it).

People who don't care primarily about tactical options in combat.

This thing is actually on track to be released in October? Almost every other kickstarter I've seen has gone well past the expected delivery date without even being close to release. This is one of the few early ones by a big company, though.

Just please more screenshots at least! :D
Nope, sorry. It's a bit rote, but hope you'll find it informative tho. I penned it! Yay?

Also currently tracking to have all levels blocked in and scripted by the end of April, yip. So still on track for October.
