Wouldn't it just be a Nuka Break derivative?

I remember a post-apocalyptic kid's show airing on public television I used to watch when I was younger but I can't remember the name and have never been able to find it on the internet. The only thing I remember vividly is that a group of people once found a Monopoly board and thought it was a real map. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate their telling me.

"what would my character do?" not "what responses will give my character the most rewards?"

With regards to dialogue, I usually ask myself "what would give me the most interesting dialogue?" and "what dialogue options would give me the most rewards?"

It has never been a problem for me because they're usually both the same thing.

I finished it last night. My mini review:

+ Lots to do.
+ Lots of NPCs to add. After an initial play-through a 2nd go should be much easier because you know what npcs have what skills.
+ Like the overland map.
+ Multiple ways to finish each area.
+ Decent weapon selection.
+ Thought the dialogue was above average for a game.

- The only good shotgun is not attainable until Hollywood. Since all my FO1/FO2/FO:NV chars use shotguns this was a personal bummer.
- Some quests seemed buggy if not done in exactly the correct order.
- Armor system sucked. Fighting lasers? Best bet is to get naked!
- Hollywood/Seal Beach felt rushed and the scripting for Hollywood is a little broken (people in two different spots, quest not being able to be finished).
- Not all skills really useful. Mechanical repair (maybe e used 3-4 times) and Animal Whisperer (thee times - goat, puppy, rat) come to mind. That being said the main reason I reloaded a game was because Aberforth got randomly killed by a stray bullet. In the end he made it though.

Other notes:
One of the things I wished they had was special overland encounters based on your outdoorsman skill and luck ability. I know not everyone likes them but I do.
I used maybe 20% of the items I found in toasters. Their use is so random you wonder whats the point.
On the ending:
I hate it when the 'true' enemy is not revealed until the final scene. Also why reuse an enemy - The Master didn't make a FO2 comeback.

The negatives were mostly just quibbles and not game breakers although the shotgun situation pisses me off. Anyway overall I'd give it an 8/10.

I also finished it like 10 minutes ago.

Unfortunately my experience was messed up by bugs in the California area:
- A certain encounter was not triggered therefore I could not finish the cat litter quest and I had to cross the radiation field with +4 protection,
- Hollywood was bugged as fuck and I had to use a walk-trough to finish the main quest. And afterwards I simply left the area because nothing made sense,
- 2-3 emergency calls were triggered one after another when I was visiting Santa Fe Springs and so on.

Other issues:
- AG Center must be rebalanced because there is a clear difference in difficulty between AG Center and Highpool,
- No decent weapons for some types of ammo. For example, I did not find a single good weapon for .30-06 cal Ammo (!?)
- World Map could be improved a lot. It looks worse than Fallout's world map.
- Broken economy - even without special care, I ended up with something like 15k+ scrap.
- Uneven areas. Some are populated, some are desolate and sometimes is hard to find a single trader.
- Buy a couple of RPG rockets and the ending becomes trivial.

But none of this matters because the game manages to capture the charm of Fallout/Wasteland and that's all that matters.
To be honest, it is better than my expectations with the mention of "I wish they had used The Unreal Engine" ;)

Good job inXile.

I thought this had happened to me as well. I wandered around the Western part of the map for a bit and a new encounter came over the radio.

I had a good sniper rifle that used that ammo that carried me for most of my stay in the first half of the game. I don't remmeber the name of it though. I'd have to try to remmeber it but it did good damage.

Basic sniper rifle you get at start uses this ammo, then you can get G43-W around Raild Nomads and Bullpup also not much further in the game. I also got M24, but can't remember where. Overall - first half of the game for snipers is 30-06.

The fuck. Bullpup sniper rifle is available once you're done with AGC/Highpool and it easily carries you to the end of AZ.

And I must bitch about random encounters. They're predictable, tiny and boring. Even travelling vendors have shit all to sell. Only good if you're few points away from level up or need weapon mods.

Physical Goods Shipping

While everyone can and hopefully is playing Wasteland 2 now with their Steam or GOG keys from the Ranger Center, we've been awaiting timelines from Deep Silver on physical shipping. Because they assembled different elements from different locations in the world and generally used slower shipping, the timeline of physical goods was much longer than we anticipated. As it is looking now, our timeline will be:

- The first batch of physical goods will be standard boxes only, shipped on the 3rd week of this month. These will go out to backers receiving only the standard box.
- Batches of physical goods including the metal Collector's Edition box will ship next and we'll announce a more precise time as soon as we have it.

Deep Silver will ship them with general post shipping (without tracking). We will keep you informed as we get more info on the specific batches shipping out.

We apologize this process took longer than we'd planned or hoped for at the outset. Unfortunately, things outside of our control made it take longer than anticipated. We will do our utmost to ensure you get your physical goods as soon as is possible and in good order.

No news since then.

You got one rifle (cant remember the model) from the DBM leader in exchange for hemorrhoid cream.

Argent-something with burn effect (lol hemorrhoids) - I thought it used 7,62mm?

Have we heard much about what the upcoming patch is going to do? I've seen Fargo mention achievements for Steam but I'm presuming this is just more bug fixes?

Achievements aren't in this patch, they'll more likely be in the next one. This upcoming one early next week is all tweaks and fixes (plus a couple new minor features that some users requested).

Cheers sea I'm probably not going to do a proper playthough till Christmas when I've got time off work, so hopefully the lions share of bugs will be fixed by then.

Naah, 30-06, just like most of the rifles in Arizona. Easily one of the best in its class in AZ but quickly falls off when compared to LA-s SVD clones.

Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut I'm very into cock and ball torture
In my rangers-only SJ run I am amazed at how useless most skills are.

Animal Whisperes? Don't need it. Repair? Don't need it. Lockpick? Don't truly need it. Safecrack? Don't need it. XXX Ass? Don't fucking need it. Brute Force? Don't need it. Outdoorsman? Nope.

The only skills I needed are Weaponsmithing, weapon skills, Perception, Demolitions (which you could theoretically skip, but it'd slow you down a lot), Medic, Surgeon. And I do have Lockpick & Outdoorsman, strictly for convenience, but you could do without them. All you truly need are weapon skills and healing, I think.

(This isn't a complaint. They are rewarding skills in that they unlock different ways to do quests, or make certain quests possible.)

I stand correct. I did use the Bullpup sniper in Arizona but there is no new sniper rifle for .30-06 cal Ammo in California. Am I wrong about this too?

Later in game you cannot solve some quests without max Safecrack or XXX Ass. The rest of them are quite useless as you said.
