That was the first release before they learned how to compress data properly into 3 discs. You can't compress emotions like that in BG2.

Or perhaps the last CD...is Gaider himself.

Yeah I still have that same version when it was released. Though my CD #4 sometimes has problems though, at least last time I installed and played it.

DA2 is seven gigs. Most of it is emotional engagement. Technology has given gamers at least twice the roleplaying that BG2 had.
