BG2:ToB buts its tough decision because I also loved Witcher 3

Out of all things you could have chosen, why ToB? I have never seen anyone high praising ToB here. I mean, it's a nice conclusion to the BG saga, but it was a really strenuous expansion pack.

I use to DM in AD&D Forgotten Realms so I love most games that follow the AD&D\D&D ruleset. But I loved the narrative with ToB and knowing I had to face the various Bhaalspawn and I appreciated the length of the game. Also I enjoyed the companions and their side quests like Viconia

And I found the journey to be full of surprises that I never expected like the betrayal by Yoshimo

Strap Yourselves In
Since this thread specifies ONE game I'm not going to split hairs with "oh I consider a, b, c... " etc. as my joint autism favorite games.

Thief Gold is probably the one I've gotten the most enjoyment out of. I've played hundreds of FMs for it and I probably couldn't name 90% of them. The official missions are amazing and unique with plenty of variety to keep me entertained on repeat playthroughs unlike the sequel which to me actually gets more dull on repeat playthroughs. Thief Gold is king.

To me was Bloodlines, I wasnt aware World of Darkness was a thing at that time and despite its flaws Bloodlines is still, after all those years, the best vampirefag cRPG available. Yes, I'm fully aware that the combat was just functional at best and broken at worst (as it was evident on the end) but looking on the overall package, the music, the Ui, the writing, the voice acting, the quest design, character design, the story, the Deus Ex influences and how they captured the World of Darkness feel to it, unbeatable to this day, it isnt my favorite game in terms of gameplay but it was the one that most impressed me in terms of overall package.

So fucking good that I developed a pavlovian joy response to that little violin sound when you get xp.

Make the Codex Great Again! RPG Wokedex Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Codex+ Now Streaming! Serpent in the Staglands Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 BattleTech Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Kingmaker Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
the best [vampire] cRPG available.
To me it didn't even matter about vampires - I didn't care about vampires then and I don't now. The world was just so well realized, obeyed its own rules, fascinating cast of characters with believable agendas, player character was abnormally powerful but it was not a Chosen One story, complex treatment of sexuality ... I could go on. Just so much breadth and depth, very few if any RPGs have matched it to this day.

Halo MCC. No reason, I just like the games a lot and am very biased towards them. It's not the best videogame/FPS series, but it's my favorite one.

I'd say Hidden&Dangerous 2.
Still to do this day the best squad based shooter, and best game set in WWII.
Crafted with a lot of love and dedication and it shows.
Out of all games i've played set in that time period none nailed the atmosphere like H&D2.
