Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Codex+ Now Streaming! Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
2024 is about to pass. Will we have voting in January or are we waiting a few months until most of the 'dex finds time to complete Dragon Age: The Veilguard?

My vote would go to Alaloth. It is more like a fusion of Diablo and Dark Souls, which probably says a lot about how many fantastic RPGs we had this year, but then again there is a growing trend of having to substitute fully-fledged RPGs with anything that has RPG elements.

I'd like the voting to take place in February, preferably the latter half. I still have Drova, Skald and VED to play through.

I have no hope of completing Alaloth or Passageway of the Ancients before the voting comes.

Falksi Harthwain and Ryzer all failed reading comprehension check...
What's your problem? Yes, I know this isn't a thread where you actually do vote. I said that if there would be a vote, my vote would go for Alaloth. It is that simple. Or did I miss something else?
It's in good taste to start an offtopic a bit later in the thread, not in posts 2&3.

Konjad didn't ask you about your GOTY pick. It's possible he doesn't even care.

It is in poor taste to give advice on good taste after failing to read people's intention yourself (more than once, I'd add) and accusing them of failing a comprehension check, wouldn't you think?

Edit:

@Konjad didn't ask you about your GOTY pick. It's possible he doesn't even care.
What an interesting coincidence! Because I don't care either. I am simply listing it, because it is tangential to the topic (as 2024 RPG of the year).

There are only Skald and Dragon's Dogma I can remember that aren't in early access.

What even came out besides Broken Road (lol) and Bioware's latest mistake?
Damn this year blew dick, Rogue Trader DLC is the only new thing I played I think.

Skald and Drova seem to be the top runners, it's been a slow ass year for RPGs.

VtMB2, Avowed and a bunch of stuff were supposed to come out, but only Veilguard delivered on time. Not that any of those have a chance at GOTY anyways.

I hope it's at the very earliest in March but hopefully later. I still have 5 more games released in 2024 to get through but so busy :negative:
