I propose making up some reason the GIF thread is political and moving it to Politics, keeping its precious content safe from the Chris-tian (ohohoho see what I did there) moral authorities. I'd protect the gif thread as if it were the new Lara.

I would say "hands off the gif thread", but there is too much crappy porn on it. So it deserves a little clean up here and there.
