Why is Temple+ blurrier than Co8?

Is it something I'm doing wrong? I've installed ToEE (GoG), then Co8, then activated Co8, then installed Temple+. Temple+ indicates that it found the Co8 version. I can freely run either the Co8 or Temple+ version from their respective launchers, but... Co8 always comes out looking noticeably sharper, at any resolution. I have some screenshots I could upload to illustrate this, but the post editor won't let me upload an image, presumably because I haven't been approved by a moderator.

I don't know why Co8 would be sharper (is AA on in both?), but in general it's best to use either your native resolution or an integer division thereof if you can.

There's also a custom setting you can specify in the ini file to disable linear upscaling:

upscaleLinearFiltering

Thus is enabled by default, you can disable it if you wish. IIRC this would change the upscale mode to nearest neighbour which may look sharper.
