Anime Why not a "jRPG Developers" aggregation?

Assuming we can stop arguing long enough to move this notion forward, the selection of nominees is greatly confounded by the myriad of relationships between development teams and parent companies.

A subforum for "Bandai Namco" would include most From Software games but exclude Bloodborne (Sony) and Sekiro (Activision, also not an RPG.) A megathread for the Dragon Quest franchise could be considered both Koei Tecmo and Square Enix. Nippon Ichi self-publishes in their home country but has had dealings with Altus and Square Enix in the past. So there's a huge lumper-splitter issue here just waiting to happen.

Just make a sub-forum for From Software
With the amount of threads they have, they are basically this website's Japanese version of Bethesda

Dragon Quest
Square Enix sub-forum

Nippon Ichi
Would also be their own sub-forum
Though I am ambivalent about it's inclusion
Much like it happens the the "General RPG Discussion" forum, the Developer aggregations shouldn't catalog all known and somewhat successful RPG developers - but rather, list the most popular and discussed ones in this website

And let's be honest, Nippon Ichi doesn't belong in it...
When was the last time you saw a thread about them? Last time a Disgae game came out?
Sometimes not even then...
I mean, did you know that Disgaea 7 exists? And it came out last year? And we don't have a thread about it
Nippon Ichi are the definition of niche
They do X and only X
They get by doing only X
If one day in their boredom of doing only X, they decided to try out Y for a change, people would incessantly bemoan until they caved in and went back to X

My proposition would be:
- From Software
- Square Enix
- Atlus
- Capcom

Maybe Sega, due to the Yakuza series
And maybe Koei Tecmo, due to the latest Team Ninja ARPG's

And maybe Koei Tecmo, due to the latest Team Ninja ARPG's
Upon further consideration, I am inclined to the rejection of these two as possibilities
The Yakuza series already has a mega thread which serves it just fine
And Koei has few jRPGs under its belt
Plus if these two were to have their own aggregation, it would make more logical sense to also create a sub-forum for Nintendo produced jRPGs

At least two of these companies are currently knee deep in the DEI. Atlus is busy making the same games over and over again, so that's only a matter of time before they gay their shit up.

that's irrelevant for the matter at hand
most companies on the "RPG Developers" aggregation also have DEI
this is a question of making the jRPG forum more organized and therefore more pleasent to navigate
and those 4 companies are currently the most regularly discussed, so they're the ones it makes most sense to create this particular sub-forum

So what you're saying is fromsoft fans should be put on time out in the prosperium in order to live up to the codex's founding principals?

Is there any community more defensive (and wrong) than From?
