Why the codex stopped sharing articles in the frontpage?

Not that I'm an oldfag or a cool kid or anything but old articles in the frontpage used to share some gaming articles and share poster's thought,(mainly VentilatorOfDoom, DU and others) so that people can comment on it.
Now it's all shitty dev logs, shitty developers interviews and shill posting.

The real answer is: The staff doesn't play games, much less long format RPGs, and users aren't allowed to write reviews for fear of being mean to poor poor devs.

An user writes a review, sends it via PM, gets proof-read, his review appears on the front page.

Nowadays:
The same user can send reviews via PM but they are ignored because:
- 'we already have review of such game by staff' (even though the review is retarded and undeserved seething for KKK), whereas Obshitian games can have multiple reviews: 3? 4? Never enough!
- 'there are already plenty of news, we can't post too many!' Of course Obshitian news get shitposed as much as possible.
- in case of an actual indie dev news, if there was Obshitian news not long ago, the indie news gets posted and post date edited by certain individual so as it is below Obshitian

The certain agenda and individuals completely run the show now.

And DU doesn't give a shit. Moreover, when he does rarely give a shit about something in a forum, he makes completely arbitrary decisions.

Nobody complains to DU about articles. They only complain to DU about trannies in their chat boxes.

I think it's like making a wish in D&D. You can do it, just make sure you have a defined goal and be careful about how you go about it. If you can't do either of those things, you might consider how much you really want to roll the dice.
