Thanks for this.In honor of Xorazm's passionate post, I've added all the indies that the Codex had reviewed since 2022, plus some other stuff I felt had to be there, like Colony Ship.
Lots more to add, but it's a start.
That would be the resident kike Infinitron
There should be hundreds of keys there.
So I assume you're just looting them? There should be hundreds of keys there.
They aren't offered as keys, there's just a button to add the game to your account. The problem is they expire after a month. It'd be nice if they could stick around forever until somebody wants to review something, but it's usually going to be loot 'em or lose 'em.
Sometimes, when I remember to look at the curator. Haven't done it in over a year.So I assume you're just looting them? There should be hundreds of keys there.

Thank you so much, but an even bigger thanks from all the devs who are going to get a little bit of extra money and attention coming their way, without any idea of what you've done to help them.In honor of Xorazm's passionate post, I've added all the indies that the Codex had reviewed since 2022, plus some other stuff I felt had to be there, like Colony Ship.

So just for me to understand how it works in practice, let's say there's two staff or more, only one of those staff can use the reclaim of x game or more can reclaim a certain game for independent review? Also does it stays permanently on your account or it gets remove when your sharing privilege on the curator also expire? (Given it have 1 month period to use the reclaim).Sometimes, when I remember to look at the curator. Haven't done it in over a year.
Since you seem to be taking charge here and adding new games, I could give you access to the game stash. I think the default permissions are that only the creator of the curator page has access and I just never changed them.
But as I said, it doesn't give you a key you can distribute to a reviewer on the forum. The idea is that the curator staff member plays the games himself.

You're a bro who has been doing great work on keeping track of games, I vouch for giving you access and letting you take any key you want.If you want to, I could help add games to the curator list, without taking any keys. It would probably not happen often, but if I see something pop up, I could add it.
Yes, the curator is not just for games we've properly reviewed or given official front page recognition.Personally, I think we should give access to interested people and establish the curator as a tool for finding interesting games, not a review page.
Do we make a thread in the forum for people to suggest games they like & post their reviews?
It should be decided by either a staff member or by a thread like suggested to represent the codex as a whole and not based on what one member thinks. With the curator page, I would be more picky, and ask myself if a title I added was relevant to most Codexers.

So, apparently these are the settings:If there's a prospective reviewer, can't you like add him to the curator staff, let him obtain the game, and then remove him from the said staff? Sounds a bit involved, but who says life's got to be easy?
Endless piles of RPGMaker shovelware, with the occasional gem.But honestly, I have no idea what kind of keys we even get... if it's just "here my indie game with 10 reviews" we probably don't need to put much thought into it, but if publishers are sending big games, that's a harder issue to solve.
Why?I think Beans00 should be given access to the curator page for review copies of games. He is a veteran of the Codex and trustworthy.
I'll do quite literally anything for free games.
Anything? Including paying for them?I'll do quite literally anything for free games.
There is a lot one could with this information.I think Beans00 should be given access to the curator page for review copies of games. He is a veteran of the Codex and trustworthy.

Felipe is too busy libsplaining to the Japanese people how problematic their culture is in their own country. AlsoInfinitron should give the reins to someone like Abu Antar or felipepepe instead if he doesn't have the time to properly manage it personally. You want a better environment for CRPGs but can't even bother to throw some quality indies a bone?
