Okay, so I've been getting back into Wizardry 7, and I may have let disease run its course for a touch too long. Now my lord is permanently insane - I can't even seem to shake it with Father Rulae's fountain. Is there any cure at this point, or is it time to suck it up? I don't have anyone in my party who will ever be able to cast Sane Mind, and there's no potion/scroll that I'm aware of - would a Ring of Truth do the trick perhaps?

Failing that, I could let the guy die, but I have a feeling he'll come back mad as ever.

Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut I'm very into cock and ball torture
I only played Wiz 7 once (planning to play it again when I make an epic 6-8 1-year or 2-year long LP) but I think dying instantly cures you of all status effects, bugged or otherwise, so yeah, try that.

Ah nevermind. I think it was a bug - I had an enemy cast a mental attack on him and send him insane, and it just passed once the "permanent" effect was overridden by the temporary one. Dying doesn't cure you of status effects though. I checked that first. ;)

Sooo...

Anyone got any T'Rang/Umpani slash?
