High speed internet connection for a singleplayer-only game. I don't understand this, even if they want to make it a Steam exclusive. Would even always-on DRM need a fast connection to work properly?

Also 50 gigs of HD space. How does that happen with console textures?

The new systems have shit-tons of RAM, so I would guess they have some pretty high res textures in this.

Requiring an i7 and GTX 480 for a game with an Xbox 360 version is still pretty shitty though. I guess they aren't bothering to scale the PC version much at all. I have a regular quad core so I guess Wolfenstein is too uber for me.

Aren't there older i7 processers that are dual-core or quad-core? Maybe they meant that, not the newer Sandy/Ivy/Haswell generation.

50GB because it's idTech 5 (Mega texture).

GTX 460 seems to be modest enough.

The page on Steam doesn't mention it. Probably a goof.

  • Processor:Intel Core i7 or equivalent AMD
  • Memory:4 GB RAM
  • Graphics:GeForce 460, ATI Radeon HD 6850

STEALTH VS MAYHEM

Jesus, this thing is so tonally inconsistent. Pseudo-philosophical ramblings and the super over-the-top Nazi atrocities we've heard feature in the story prominently made me think they're going for srs bzns, yet now they release this weird comedy trailer.

Gameplay in this video reminded me of a neutered Metro 2033.

boxed version for the PC

Until first game update that force you to download half (or even better - whole game) of the game files. Similiar to Metro 2033 or FEAR2

That trailer shows pretty well why this game is going to be shit.

Stealth = Stupid nazis showing their asses to your gun.
Mayhem = You kill nazis ONE BY ONE and they doesn't even try to kill you (and also there are covers which are useless because the game is for retards).

Wolfenstein: The New Order looks like Dishonored for some reason. FPS is the most declined genre right now.

Is it just me, or is the game nowhere found in the Steam Top-sellers list, not even among the first 100?

Holy shit Bethesda.

Good nighty Machine Games.
It's out?

I was talking about pre-orders. If it isn't among the top 10, it's most likely going to be a financial failure.
