Suspecting that advertising the smartphone version of Alter Ego might have been the entire reason for that article, I went to see when it was released. Turns out it was released too long ago for my theory to be likely, but I did find this hilarious review at the itunes store.

I mostly bought this game to go through the earlier life stages, but my time as an infant ended early? Not sure why, but maybe because I had already completed a number of actions as an infant? But why have so many actions if we're going to be limited, and why not warn us or give us an indication? Idk if it was like this for all life stages, I got killed as a child because I told the obvious kidnapper that I couldn't get in the car with him. Pretty BS in my opinion. Plus to have it auto-save so I couldn't just avoid that asinine situation.. I will be asking for my money back with this one

I know the meaning of my own life.
That's why I play games when I get to kill losers and bang hot chicks.

For such a trendy list I'm surprised CK2 isn't on it.

Civilization
Life lesson: Nuking your neighbors is fun.

Star Trek: Birth of the Federation taught me the only path to eternal peace is to cleanse the galaxy of all life but your own and recolonize everything with your own people. :D

The Novelist sucks shit.

As long as he's picking arty indie games, Little Inferno was a good game about The Human Condition that fits better on the list than half of this crap.

Also, not picking Alpha Centauri over Civilization :timcain:
