Like worse the AC3 which i thought looked good on the PS3. apparently all the stuff they added and making the world seamless was the trade off of very lower textures, very little effects, jaggies galore and choppy framerate. All in all i would recommend what im going to do. Forget this version even exists and play on a next Gen or PC. i guess this is why they never released game play footage of current gen.. to dupe ppl into buying this version.

Very good! I 100% approve of making the game look like crap on last-gen consoles in order to give us a bigger and better game on PC.

There is only easy mode difficulty in Assassins creed. Imagine a whole fucking game that felt like a huge tutorial mission with a story written by pretentious idiots, you found Assassin Creed essense. At least, the whole italian renaissance vibe with it's interesting story and architecture made Ass creed 2 a popamole that was playable. Ass Creed III: Shitty Dance with Wolves for undomesticated Snowmen edition was terrible, this one seems better but based on the gameplay trailers, connecting dots will be a more challenging game.

I'm a PC gamer more for control options, mods and the classic library than graphics, but... only an asshole buys a multiplatform game on old consoles at the very end of an 8 year lifecycle.

AC3 was very inconsistent in terms of framerate on the PS3, i tried it and just couldn't get around how choppy it was. I imagine that this one will be much worse, no way i'm touching this on consoles.

That might explain why people are complaining the graphics are worse. Maybe Ubisoft nerfed the graphics to prevent the same thing from happening.

Then again, I think the new engine was just pure shit. Even on PC I got 60+ FPS everywhere except in Boston, where it magically dropped to around 10-15FPS.

I think 6GB of DDR5 is above the average for a gaming PC right now. I haven't looked at Valve's hardware surveys in a while but I would guess most people are rocking 4GB of DDR2 or 3.

Wow, this is pretty boring and not what I expected.

Man, AC 1 was invented by people with sleep problems, there is no way for you to play that shit for long without sleeping. Go to AC 2/AC Brotherhood, it have the awesome Renaissance period architecture with lots of cathedrals, temples and awesome buildings to climb and there is actually gameplay this time, it is shit and unchallenging but you will not fight the urge to sleep this time.
