The pictures hosted on the Codex Gallery are nine out of ten times not loading completely or timing out. For example, the news post of the Grimoire Demo has a non-loading logo for me, and if I "open the image in new tab" then it only loads half-way, like some 28k8 dial-up .gif that looses connection.

How can this be, is the gallery hosted on a different instance / server or does it have some bandwidth limit imposed ? Also, I cannot be the only one experiencing this.

I'm not sure why you might have that problem, but I'm fairly sure it's at your end. Fair Codexia is reasonably quick today.

Your Mind
Yea, some static resources like images load off CF, which, in theory, should always be faster since it's loading from servers nearer your location. In practice, CF sometimes has hiccups on some of their servers, so it could account for everything working normally for most people while a few (usually limited to one geographic location) would see things load slower. But this doesn't exactly happen often (or last long).

Server-wise, the load is far below optimal so it doesn't get any faster than this.

Of course, there's also the possibility that you got your ass banned network-wide by CF, but if you did, I'm sure you deserve it. :smug:
